Hi @jadey1991 I'm here 🙋‍♀️ we are all good here. Just a bit worried because baby is 13 months now and still has no teeth. She has her jabs next week so I'll ask then but I've booked her into the dentist aswell, earliest they could do was Feb though

NatMoz · 17/01/2023 09:45

My baby is also 13 months so i should probably join this thread!

jadey1991 · 17/01/2023 15:55

@Curlymam88 hello lovely.. oh I don't think it's a problem hun. She might be a late starter. Josiah has his 1 year old jab this Friday .. dreading it.

Hello 👋 yes I wouldn't worry too much @Curlymam88 I'm sure they're in there somewhere, can you see any white under the surface? Added bonus is if they're late to teethe they're also late to fall out so they won't have to worry about looking after adult teeth too early!
@jadey1991 Dexter had his jabs last Friday, they weren't nice but the nurse was really good about distracting him after with bubbles so he didn't cry for too long and they were soon forgotten. I put him straight down for his nap after since they were in the morning and he slept for over 3 hours! Good luck, I hope they go OK x
@NatMoz hello and welcome! Do you have a boy or a girl?

jadey1991 · 17/01/2023 21:58

@burtle4 aww bless him hun. How is he now since having them? The nurses that do josiah's hair s aren't that kind to be bringing bubbles out lol. Hope Dexter is ok and yourself too. X

OP posts:
burtle4 · 17/01/2023 22:05

@jadey1991 oh no!, That's a shame, you'll have to bring the bubbles yourself! He's been absolutely fine since, just a bit sleepier on the actual day of the jabs and a bit grumpy the next day but that was probably because his legs and arm were feeling sore!

Theawkwardblonde · 17/01/2023 22:05

Hello everyone!!! Hope everyone's little one had a fab first birthday, Christmas and new year!

Sorry for being a bit MIA..took a break from socials. Hope you're all okay? Thanks @jadey1991 for the new thread, so much to catch up on!
Nothing much to report here other than baby S having their birthday (they were the youngest and a Jan baby) , and me now being 32 weeks pregnant and knackered 😂 going to read all your updates with a cuppa and get caught up.

Curlymam88 · 17/01/2023 22:06

@jadey1991 same. I Dont like our nurse who does babys jabs after she sarcastically went 'awww noooo' when the other nurse said baby was fussing before she even had her jabs. Bit of a cow I thought.

@burtle4 how has he been after his jabs? Was he ill or anything after them? I'm really dreading ours.

jadey1991 · 17/01/2023 22:09

@tashx we are here hun

@Theawkwardblonde aww bless ya hun. How are you finding the pregnancy with baby s?
Please do keep us updated with the pregnancy

OP posts:
jadey1991 · 17/01/2023 22:14

@Curlymam88 oh no. I had to give the nurse a piece of my kind the last time Josiah had his jabs. She really irritated me.. I just know Josiah will scream and cry on these next ones 😢😢

OP posts:
tashx · 17/01/2023 22:14

@jadey1991
Thankyou hun

burtle4 · 17/01/2023 22:15

@Curlymam88 no he was fine, I gave him some calpol straight after and he just slept, ended up having to give him lunch at 3pm! He just seemed a bit grumpy the next day, but as I said, I think that was just because his limbs were feeling sore 😔 your nurse doesn't sound very good with babies, real shame, it makes such a difference to the experience!
@Theawkwardblonde can't believe you're 32 weeks already, I bet it feels like it's flown by! How are you feeling about it all?

Theawkwardblonde · 17/01/2023 22:24

You're not all filling me with confidence for these jabs 😂 - were still awaiting our appointment for the 1 year ones. Our little one hates them, plus our nurse isn't the greatest either. I'm very needle phobic and are always makes a sarcy comment to me about it when I go in 🙄

@jadey1991 @burtle4 definitely flown by!! I'm not going to lie, I've found it really hard. I've had hyperemesis this pregnancy, have had a couple of knocks to bump so been in hospital, anaemic now, have PGP so struggling walking very far/long. Plus the exhaustion of working Full time and looking after a 1 year old means It's been brutal 😂 on a positive baby is growing fab, despite the fact I'm knackered and dropping quite a bit weight. Not long to go now I hope 🤞🏻

burtle4 · 17/01/2023 22:32

@Theawkwardblonde oh wow, sorry to hear that, it's tough at the best of times being pregnant with other kids in tow, let alone facing all that as well! I bet you're just looking forward to meeting him/her now! It must seem really strange knowing you'll have a newborn again, our December/January babies seem so grown up now in comparison!

jadey1991 · 18/01/2023 00:37

@tashx your welcome hun

mumsince2021 · 18/01/2023 10:39

Hey all 👋 just a reminder I was 2020mission just thought it was time to change the username.

Matthew seemed fine after his jabs last week but he was horrendous for sleep for the next 2 nights. Even daytime naps he wouldn't go down for and insisted on napping on me. The nurse said they can be fussy 3 weeks after the vaccinations too 😩 fun times ahead! Hopefully all your little ones won't be as bad as he was. He seemed fine otherwise just needy and unwilling to sleep like normal.

mumsince2021 · 18/01/2023 10:43

@Theawkwardblonde it's sounds like it's been pretty tough but you're getting close now!

I'm actually in two minds on whether to have another now 😅 I keep changing my mind. Matthew still wakes every 2 hours for milk at night and it feels like he will never sleep through. I just don't know if I can handle going through it all again and with a toddler! Always had 2 kids in my plan but we'll see... given how hard it was to conceive I'm probably not likely to easily have another anyway.

Theawkwardblonde · 18/01/2023 11:10

Hi @mumsince2021 nice to hear from you!
Could well be the jabs keeping Matthew up at night. I'm not looking forward to the side effects hitting after 3 weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️

Yeah we didn't really think it through having two 🙄 As you know we struggled too conceiving. I was warned would be more fertile after having one but just assumed as my eggs are running out imminently it would take 2 years again 😂

jadey1991 · 18/01/2023 11:36

@mumsince2021 hey hun, lovely to hear from you... aww bless Matthew. I really hope that changed for you....

@Theawkwardblonde aww hun I'm so sorry you have been finding it so hard and going through a rough time. Sending you big hugs. I hope when baby arrives you will be feeling much better.... are you having normal delivery or cs? Xx

OP posts:
jadey1991 · 18/01/2023 11:41

@mumsince2021 never give up hope hun... I was once like you.. I have a 14,8 and josiah (1) the gals between them all is a nightmare. However a blessing... you never know if you decide to have another one things could be completely different... with my 2 girls it was a breeze. They slept all the way through they were absolutely fine. Where as Josiah was completely different lol.. there is a saying that boys are more difficult then girls and I agree lol

OP posts:
Theawkwardblonde · 18/01/2023 11:44

@jadey1991 that's amazing, well done Josiah!
Thanks - just super wiped with it all. Taking early mat leave so only a few weeks to go. I'm hoping to go for a VBAC, everything in my favour at the minute and fully supported by my midwives. Just praying it doesn't end up in EMCS like last time - trying not to think about it if I'm honest 😂
