@ThelastRolo20 my 13 month old isn't walking yet either it's completely normal for some to take longer. I was personally late to walk at about 15 months and I'm a fast walker now with no issues 😂 I love a good walk, so definitely no need to worry. My boy is still just cruising along furniture which is fine with me (no chasing or extra danger for now 😅)

jadey1991 · 06/02/2023 20:56

@ThelastRolo20 hello, yes your more then welcome to join. Aww bless her. She will start walking soon. Is she your first child?

@mumsince2021 this is true, no running after them quite so much! I also love a good walk - no idea when I started walking but I obviously did at some point haha.

ThelastRolo20 · 07/02/2023 06:51

@jadey1991 yes first child :) I've just gone back to work a month ago so getting used to that but she's doing well at nursery despite getting every bug under the sun it seems! Do you just have the one? X

jadey1991 · 07/02/2023 10:32

@ThelastRolo20 aww that's nice.

@ThelastRolo20 as for the bugs yes unfortunately she will catch everything. I remember my youngest daughter catching al bugs. It was always hospital trips for us because she is asthmatic and everything affected her chest

Theawkwardblonde · 07/02/2023 11:56

@LouLou0505 thank you! ☺️ it certainly wasn't intended to be this close. Surprisingly my section scar is holding up okay atm. How were the jabs?

We had ours last week..beeb utter hell since!

@jadey1991 yay well done Josiah! @burtle4 yay fab little one is walking!

@tashx yes baby S is the sane, odd couple of steps but that's it.

@ThelastRolo20 and @lottie198 hello and welcome!

Hope you're all okay. Nothing exciting here other than the expected aftermath of jabs being awful. I'm on countdown as finished work for Mat leave again.

jadey1991 · 07/02/2023 13:48

jadey1991 · 07/02/2023 13:49

@lottie198 hi yes of course welcome. Is Henry your first?

Yes first baby!
He's the loveliest boy. His sleep is currently horrendous because he's not well and teething so badly. So we are both worn out.
How do all your babies eat? Mines gone completely off food recently and refuses everything apart from yoghurt!
I find this age quite challenging

jadey1991 · 09/02/2023 12:26

@lottie198 aww bless congratulations on your first.
My son loves his food.i I've never had a problem with him eating.

burtle4 · 09/02/2023 13:24

@lottie198 I was just sitting here while my son refuses yet another meal wondering what on earth has happened! He used to love his food and now he'll only eat yoghurt or banana pancakes 😂 I'm hoping it's just an age thing and he'll grow out of it soon as it's so disheartening when another meal just gets tossed to the floor!

jadey1991 · 22/02/2023 10:28

Hello ladies how are we all doing

Decadesbcun · 22/02/2023 19:04

Hey, just finally found this new thread!

Been having a bit of a break from my phone and back at work now too so been so busy.

S is now taking a few steps. He never just stood, one day was cruising furniture then just let go and did about 6 steps to me! So we’ve been to get him his first pair of shoes and now he will not be carried, wants to walk everywhere holding my hand 🙄🤣 still only doing about 10 steps alone though.

He is loving nursery, doesn’t give a shit about me leaving him just waves me off 🤣

Just can’t believe how big they are all getting, and because most were December, it’s strange to say that they will 2 THIS YEAR!!!

Decadesbcun · 22/02/2023 19:08

@burtle4
i feel your pain!
S used to eat whatever was put in front of him, now he looks at it in disgust and then chucks it. He will accept toast, garlic bread, pancakes, fruit and yoghurts. Other stuff is hit and miss.

Although at nursery he will wolf down mackerel (🤮) pasta no problem 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I’m hoping it’s just boundary pushing and he will accept more from me over time.

LT2 · 22/02/2023 19:27

Can another one join? My son turned 13 months yesterday! He also had his 1 year immunisations on the same day. Today he has just wanted to sit still, no crawling.. so his limbs must be sore!

jadey1991 · 24/02/2023 11:37

@Decadesbcun aww bless S... he a big boy now lol... Josiah loves to walk to. We got him first pair of trainers a couple weeks ago now.
It is so strange to think they will be 2 this year.

I'm glad your all doing well tho...

jadey1991 · 24/02/2023 11:39

@LT2 hello and welcome to the thread. So nice to have you on board... aww yes I'm still awaiting my son to have his 1 year immunisations. Every time I book the nurse seems to be off.

tashx · 07/03/2023 14:38

Do you have your little ones in a cot or
Toddler bed

StopGrowingPlease · 07/03/2023 15:14
