Hi everyone
Hope you all well
Just a question really
Do you have your little ones in a cot or
Toddler bed

Mines in our bed 🤣 and has been since 4 months

jadey1991 · 07/03/2023 17:50

@Curlymam88 hey hun I'm so sorry for the delayed response. I didn't get any notifications.
Oh no I hope ur niece is ok.
I'm doing okay. Josiah is doing okay too. He was in hospital the other day. He came up with a temp of 40 and wouldn't go down for 3 days despite giving him calpol and ibuprofen.
He was then on iv fluids, had an X-ray or his chest and had bloods taken.

X-ray showed up clear his urine was clear. Bloods were done except he is anaemic.

@tashx hey hun, also sorry for late reply. To be honest with you Josiah sleeps in the bed with me. Unfortunately I can't fit a cot in a bedroom 🙈🙈 I need to move but it's so hard

@StopGrowingPlease we don't have a thread for that one here yet as our little ones are 13/14 months. But some of us have older children so if you need advice please ask away

@jadey1991
Yes Jesse spends most of his time in bed with me
But I can't sleep with him in bed
And I'm desperate for him to stay in his own bed

jadey1991 · 07/03/2023 21:19

@tashx aww bless u hun... I was like that at first but now I can sleep. Even tho he fidgets soooo much

OP posts:
burtle4 · 07/03/2023 21:38

@tashx Dexter is still in his cot, I won't change him to a toddler bed until he can safely get himself in and out of it. Also if he were to start trying to climb out of the cot that would be another reason I would, but he's still in one of those sleeping bag things so he can only move like a maggot in that 😂

jadey1991 · 08/03/2023 11:31

@burtle4 🤣🤣aww bless him

Hi Everyone!
So sorry I have missed so much.....I've had every intention of popping on to post but we have just been so so busy with everything recently! Before I knew it the weeks have rolled into moths so quickly..... Obviously having our 5 children is what occupies my time most with their different needs, clubs, birthdays, activities, school & nursery! etc but aside from them home improvements has been ongoing since Christmas! But we are getting there now and it's a bit calmer now we havnt got multiple tradesmen in......Oscar is 14months and running, climbing, clapping and eating us out of house and home! 🤣 He's still very needy and wakes for a bedtime bottle at around 10:30pm but he likes eating his food independently and I've just introduced a plastic fork which he has taken to very quickly (I get the food on end and he shoves it in his mouth) haha I'm doing well and have managed to squeeze in a bit of time for me with a 5k challenge that we will be completing tonight after 8wks training! Our eldest got her first choice in secondary school accepted so we are geering her up ready to leave primary and start secondary in September! Oscars name is already down for nursery for next January (2 mornings) and his older brother will be in big room there for another year until he goes off to school the year after......as you can probably tell its all go here! How is everyone and bubble......hope your all thriving and 2023 has started well for all Xx

Hello everyone!
thank you all for remembering in in this thread. Jack is 14 months now of course too! Eating everything in sight with his hands not keen on the spoon/fork yet prefers to stab it then take it off the spoon with his hands & eat it 🤷🏼🤣His been on whole milk since 1 year loves his bottle at around 7pm after his bath then promptly tosses it over the side of the crib when he’s done! Walking, 6 teeth oh & Day Care 3 days a week - sharing some pictures 💙seeing all yours too! thank you so much!

jadey1991 · 09/03/2023 14:55

Hi everyone! Fabulous to read the updates. As usual I'm just exhausted (due any day now 🤦🏼‍♀️). Apologies for not responding much - the tiredness has been unreal..

Little one is 14 months. We're walking and running now and have been for about a month. On 14 teeth and just causing absolute mayhem in the house 😂

mumsince2021 · 10/03/2023 20:05

Hey all (2020mission here just as a reminder 😅) lovely to see recent photos of your 14 month olds and to hear they are getting on well. My little one finally started walking a couple of weeks ago but I think he could have started sooner as he just got up and walked well without wobbling much and hasn't stopped so I think he held off walking until he was really ready. He did get a lot of practise with his wooden trolley walker! Still only 6 teeth that I can see.

@jadey1991 no nursery here either I'm lucky that my mum and dad are watching him for the 4 days I work just now. I'm holding off on any nursery until he's a bit bigger, maybe about 2? I also cannot get Matthew off the boob he's refusing to drink out of his cups a lot of the time even if I express the milk directly into it so it's the right temperature and the same boob milk! I'm definitely ready to stop breastfeeding.

@Theawkwardblonde how far off your due date are you now? You must be getting excited. I'm getting the fear at the fact we are fast approaching June when we said we'd start trying again just because he still wakes throughout the night and won't come off the boob and I don't know if I can handle another of the same 😂 but it was always our plan as I'm almost 35 so my body clock is about to rapidly decline.

@mumsince2021 hello hun nice to hear from you... yes your line me, I won't get Josiah into nursery till 2-3 years old.. oh my yep me and you are in the same position. Josiah doesn't wanna come be off boob either. Is soo frustrating I'm so done with breastfeeding. The thing with Josiah is I think he like like it as a comfort thing. He drinks from his bottle or cup when he has juice.

Hi everyone! Great to see all the babies doing so well!

Jack is doing great! He goes to nursery 2 days a week, I don't need to work but as I'm in the police it makes sense to stay working as the maternity package is too good to leave. I only do 2 short days but nursery is great for Jack!

He's obsessed with buses right now and shouts bus at everything 😂 he's such a character it's so amazing watching him.

Here's Jack with his Daddy this morning feeding the ducks

So lovely to hear from everyone and see the pics of your little ones, they've all grown so much! Dexter is such a character and makes us laugh all the time with his little ways. He loves music and loves to dance, he also loves buses and tractors and says 'dac da' every time he sees one! He went through a fussy stage with his eating but has recently started to enjoy his food again so hoping that was just a phase. He sleeps through mostly but we still have the odd night where he just wants to come into our bed and it's very hard to refuse him when he's just so god damn cute 😂🥰 He also love love LOVES the bath!
