Wow, congratulations! I had a feeling you wouldn't be done after Josiah! I hope the pregnancy goes smoothly for you, a two year age gap will be lovely - although it will be an even busier Christmas than ever for you this year!!

JW2021 · 10/04/2023 23:21

Could resist now your asking! 😉

@burtle4 lol😂😂 I thought I was done lol. This pregnancy came as a shock honestly. I've noticed Josiah has become more clingy. I'm assuming baby's due date is around end of November beginning of December.

I need to contact the gp and sort everything out.

jadey1991 · 11/04/2023 15:02

@Curlymam88 thanks hun. I'm trying but I've never experienced having a almost 18 month old running around and being pregnant... this came as a shock to us.
Hope your enjoying your holidays

I can imagine it's hard. All I wanted to do was sleep in the early days. Hope you manage some rest. Does josiah sleep all night for you?
We are in Newquay wales and it's wet here today. Typical!

Theawkwardblonde · 11/04/2023 15:50

Wow @jadey1991 congratulations!!! Fab news.
Must warn you it's is tiring with a little one running around but the age gap will be lovely ☺️
Hope you all had a lovely Easter!

Recovering slightly more here thankfully but still not 100%. It's taking me a lot longer to recover from this EMCS. It won't be helped by the fact I had covid whilst in labour as that's still weirdly affecting me.

Baby M is complete opposite to baby S, but is doing okay other than keeping us awake all night 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 she's fully recovered after her NICU stay too which is grand.

tashx · 11/04/2023 23:20

@jadey1991
I had an 17 month old and a newborn baby
It's hard work but lovely having a small gap

jadey1991 · 12/04/2023 00:08

@Theawkwardblonde glad everything is going well for you hun. Can't wait to see a pic.
@Curlymam88 yes Josiah does sleep during night, he still wakes for a feed as I'm still breast feeding. It's so hard to stop...

@tashx I'm excited I'm not gonna lie. I just gotta hope and pray for the best... I can't believe it's actually taking me back to when we started on the thread. I started the thread and I was about 6/7 weeks pregnant with Josiah lol

Lovely photo @jadey1991 you have beautiful children and josiah looks so much older now. How are ypu feeling? Hope you're doing good xx

jadey1991 · 16/04/2023 21:40

@Curlymam88 thank you my lovely.. yes I'm feeling good thanks. Been off my food slightly. Only able to eat a meal a day and some snacks. I'm not sick with the pregnancy so I'm baffled. Maybe because I'm at the bloating stage

OP posts:
Curlymam88 · 17/04/2023 08:21

@jadey1991 I'm glad you're managing a meal and some snacks. Snacks is all I ever wanted too. Maybe the sickness will come a bit later on. Enjoy it while it lasts 🙈

mumsince2021 · 18/04/2023 22:41

Sorry I've not been good at keeping up but just want to make the effort to say congrats @jadey1991 💕 hope everyone else is doing well too. I'm still on the fence on whether to try for another any time soon as Matthew is still so awful with sleep. First 2-3 hours he sleeps fine but then awake every 45 mins for the rest of the night still 😩 definitely wouldn't cope well with it while pregnant!

Curlymam88 · 19/04/2023 07:16

@mumsince2021 wow, that sounds hard. Is there a reason why he's awake every 45mins? Does he take a dummy? Have you tried white noise? Poor guy must be tired through the day aswell as his parents 🙈 im also the same, on the fence due to the amount of appointments I had while pregnant. Every 2 weeks I was at the hospital and just tired all the time. Not sure hiw I'd cope while giving a toddler the attention she needs. I'd use to spend the whole morning after school run in bed 🙈 I also don't get any help from family 🤷🏽‍♀️

burtle4 · 19/04/2023 07:27

@mumsince2021 wow, that sounds really tough 🙁 has he always been like that with his sleep or has he had periods of sleeping well? Can you work out why he's waking up? Does he seem in pain or is it because he doesn't want to be alone? Does he want feeding? I'm wondering if you should get some advice off the health visitor or something because no one can cope with no sleep for that length of time, it must be so draining on you all! Maybe you could try a craniologist in case it is to do with some sort of discomfort he's in?x

mumsince2021 · 19/04/2023 07:41

He's fine once I've picked him up and goes back down quite quickly with a cuddle for a minute or 2 so I don't think it's waking due to discomfort or for feeds. He refused a dummy so has never had one which doesn't help. He isn't overly tired during the day either he has a nap for 2 hours and is wide awake the rest of the time not yawning or anything. He's always been like this, just a bad night sleeper!
