toooooooooo many and i really need to sell some but cannot really bare to! There is also some i really want/ need (for research purposes of course!!

Indith · 04/02/2008 20:19

32 I think

Terries in various guises and 4 minki huggles. Tis a good amount as you can go away for 2 nights and not have to worry about getting nappies on and dried the instant you come home

Indith · 04/02/2008 20:21

that is of course not counting the array of fluffles since they are size one and ds is not. That does exclude them from the count right?

I have 20
5 motherease one size with velcro
5 motherease one size with poppers
and 10 easy peasie, which I used to hate but now luuurrve.

but I need to wash every couple of days otherwise they don't dry in time.

babyjjbaby · 04/02/2008 20:41

i can't wash many at one time cos they don't fit in the bucket so i have always got some clean bigger bucket

OP posts:
Indith · 04/02/2008 20:47

Oh I so need a bigger bucket, or a second one, I just haven't got round to getting one yet so ~I end up with a nappy pile around the bucket

How much does your boy weigh babyjj?

babyjjbaby · 04/02/2008 20:51

i have found a little bag which cam with a mothercare jive buggy so am gonna use that why do they make them so small only to hold 2 -3 days nappies

I have 20 Ellas House Day Nappies plus err...quite a few others . I mainly use the EHDN but they are so thin fitting they will all fit in my nappy bucket at once so there's me peering into the bucket thinking 'hmm...must do a wash soon as the bucket is full' only to realise all my nappies are dirty.

Not exactly going to win 'organised mummy of the century' title but it is a good excuse to have a large selection of 'emergency nappies'

babyjjbaby · 04/02/2008 21:21

i think i have got far 2 many i wonder whos got the most

I don't use a bucket - I use a "kitchen" type bin which was about a £5 from Wilkinsons. Easily holds 2-3 days worth of nappies and washable wipes - around 15 at least. It has a flip top lid and is fab - just flip the nappies in and no bad smells.

I own quite a lot of nappies - some were from a friend, most brand new. I have around 16 Motherease one size with the boosters, around 6 tots bots size 2. Also have a few smaller ones, a couple of kooshies (sp?), a tiny size 1 tots, and various others.

Is this a branch of nappy owners anonymous on this thread
Great thread btw.

babyjjbaby I have one size 2 fluffles (white) - poppers. Only used it a few times but prefer the cotton ones I had already. If you are interested feel free to CAT me or give me your e-mail. Don't want much for it. No prob if not... (sorry it's not orange!)

BigBadMouse · 04/02/2008 21:29

is anyone else reading this and noticing babyjjbaby's increasingly strong nappy habit . You're going to have to join nappyaddicts anonymous like the rest of us you know

babyjjbaby · 04/02/2008 21:29

sorry i need size 1 i thought about getting a big bin but it has to go in a corner under the sink int the bathroom so i don't thin kit would fit

6 tots size one
2 fluffles size one
about 6 flat terries
14 tots size 2

14 of each size works well for us. I could possibly do with a few more size ones, but given dd will still be in size 2s when db is born I'm thinking I'll be washing a bit more frequently so could cope with fewer!

onepieceoflollipop · 04/02/2008 21:36

No prob babyjj

56 pocket nappies

See I thought I didn't have many...and reading some of your admissions I was right. My rl friends mostly think I am a bit odd. Recently met a new friend who is also a real nappy fan and who told me about some fab swim nappies with tankini tops...bet that got you all drooling those of you with dds...

twospecialgirls · 04/02/2008 21:40

i have my faves though some just dont seem to get used i just kept seeeing nicer patterns or furry ones and i cant seem to say no !

pinkspottywellies · 04/02/2008 21:41

God I feel boring. 24 terries with 4 kushies wraps and 3 pocket nappies for nighttime. And just one normal nappy bucket.

twospecialgirls · 04/02/2008 21:42

i only have one bucket with a lid but it was from wilkinsons

babyjjbaby · 04/02/2008 21:53

i love the teries tho pinkspottywellies i only had about 12 till last week but i prefer them to any other but get bored with them hence why i have just got some bamboozles but i know that i will still use the terries the most

OP posts:
jes74 · 04/02/2008 22:39

i have too many to count and far too many types, terries sandies, me one size, disana tie on, ellas house, tots bots, nature babies, stuffables, minki huggle and waffles, wahm ones, weenies and others that i dont even know the name a hundred i guess but i do have 2 in nappies for the second time so have built up the collection over the last eight years, and even dh gets exited over minki huggles
