Here everyone is!! Had thought it was a bit quiet over on the other chat and I didn't get the notification about this group 😂 thanks for adding me though @jadey1991
So lovely to see everyone's gorgeous babies and to hear how they're all getting on. Dexter is now sitting unaided (but with lots of cushions, just in case!) He's not rolling yet either but I'm not too worried as he's very big and I just think he's a bit like a sheep that gets stuck on its back because it's too wide 😂 he's growing such a lovely little personality, sleeping much better and loving his food so far ❤ the kids are also loving interacting with him and watching him develop. Have attached a couple of pics.
@Theawkwardblonde that's really exciting about trying again, having completely finished with having babies I hadn't even considered that now would be about the time for some to start trying! Good luck with it and keep us in the loop on your journey!

Hey all sorry been slow at keeping up here!

Wow @Theawkwardblonde trying again already 😅 I completely understand that given the length of time TTC and losses. My husband simply doesn't want 2 under 2 otherwise I'd have been tempted to start again soon too. We will be waiting until next spring. For anyone who doesn't know it took me 16 months with 2 early losses (chemicals). I don't have high hopes for next time trying. I also haven't got my periods back yet as still breastfeeding. It's good and bad as I hate periods but it means I'm definitely not fertile right now 😂

@burtle4 well done to Dexter sitting unaided! He's grown so much. I saw my red book from when I was a baby and it said I didn't sit unaided until 9 months. Matthew may be following my slow progress as he's still pretty wobbly when sitting unless propped up. Good head control at least. He keeps arching his back so much to try and move when he's on his back on the changing mat.

@Curlymam88 aww Leola is lovely and getting so big too. It feels like yesterday they were all newborns.

@jadey1991 that's a lovely photo of your girls and Josiah! He sounds like he's getting on well and sitting up himself too. No sign of any teeth for Matthew yet I can see them under his gums but nothing through. I have registered him with my dentist already though just cause I was there last week for a check up and scale/polish while my NHS dental treatment is still free postpartum 😅

Matthew seems behind everyone but I'm forgetting he is probably one of the youngest in the group as he's only just reaching 5 months. Hopefully he will catch up!

Theawkwardblonde · 25/05/2022 21:11

Gosh so many spelling errors in my last message 🤦🏼‍♀️
Baby S isn't sitting unaided here. She's got good head control but needs propping up. Hasn't quite mastered rolling over either, gets stuck on her side! She's not 5 months yet (couple of weeks to go).

@2020mission yes I remember your TTC journey from our donkey thread (seems a lifetime ago!) We're just keen to crack on with it due to my dreaded low AMH and husband nearing 36. I'm a bit apprehensive in case I fall quickly just due to me wanting a VBAC next time. Do not want another section! My little one is a few days younger than yours if I remember rightly ☺️

@burtle4 so exciting with the sitting! I think baby S will get the hang of it in a week or two 😂 It's exciting but I keep thinking I must be mad!

@jadey1991 sorry to hear about your previous losses - it's awful. Josiah is looking so grown up!

burtle4 · 25/05/2022 21:12

@2020mission really don't worry about it, Dex is coming up to 6 months and so nearly a full month ahead! He only learned to sit about a week ago, things change so quickly! I also think because he's so big it gives him quite a sturdy base to sit on 😆 Matthew looks gorgeous and so dinky ❤

jadey1991 · 25/05/2022 21:36

@2020mission hello hun. Matthew is looking so handsome. I love his pics... thanks for the comment on my kids. Yes Matthew is one of the youngest on here bless him.. I can't believe how cute he is

Hi everyone 😊

@burtle4 lovely to see you back! Dexter has grown so much, and lovely seeing him sit up unaided in your pics....very handsome and looks cheeky 💙
Hey @2020mission sorry to hear of your previous losses. Must make you very anxious about ttc and the heartbreak that could come with it! Don't give up hope though.....it took my sister around 18months to conceive with my neice and so she started trying sooner the next time (thinking it would be another 18months of trying) but fell pregnant straight away with another girl, only 17 months between the girls and neice was just 8 months old when she gave birth! Your hubby is talking sense as 2 under 2 is hard work but also very rewarding too as they are super close despite the bickering! haha
Mathew looks so sweet and doesn't need to catch up at all.....babies are like flowers they all bloom at totally different time and no 2 grow the exact same all unique! 😊
Hi @JW2021 and jack.....very cute and looks like a character. Let us know how the foods going.....Oscars not long started a few weeks now and I'm sticking to baby porridge, jars and pouches for now for easiness but I do have a nutribullet and baby recipe book so might start using that once things get a little less hectic....if ever that happens in our house! 😅
@Theawkwardblonde I didn't want to miss you out and wishing you lots of luck with ttc.....you could end up with a very close age gap like my sis did,was a big shock for her after trying for so long but it's also been easier for the small age gap in many ways! look forward to hearing your happy news x
And you @jadey1991 hope all is good with you all too? 😊x

LouLou0505 · 30/05/2022 07:32

Oh wow I've got a lot to catch up on!!

I'll have to do that in a nap 😅

Hope everyone is well! At a quick glance through the pics don't our babies look amazing!

Jack is over 5 months now, LOVING his food, his bouncer, sitting up and he's obsessed with birds 😂 he's doing so well with swimming too! We go to baby groups and we've met a really good friend their and Jack and her little boy love each other!

LouLou0505 · 30/05/2022 07:34

We also got him christened on his grandads birthday (he passed away 2 years ago) which was so lovely!!

@jadey1991 aw thats great! Hope your having a nice half term so far 😊 ours are off school/nursery until 6th of June now.....can't believe it will be the last term of school it's gone so quick! (Oh and I forgot to reply to your earlier post about potty training baby at 5wks?) Yeah it blows my mind too......I usually start potty training anywhere from 18months if ready upto 3yrs!
@LouLou0505 aww look at Jack! Grown so much 😊 He looks alot like your hubby with his hair colouring etc but lots of you in him too! We used to call our daughter Hovis-Best of both 🤣 Glad his christening went well and so special it was on late grandads birthday 💙 we had 1 of ours christened on our wedding anniversary,in church we got married in and at same time too....made it even more special for us! Oscar also got christened on 1st of May at our church 😊

lovebeingmum9 · 31/05/2022 08:21

Hi ladies forgot to say Yesterday I laid Oscar on his playmat and he rolled over and attempted to crawl! 🙈 He made it off the playmat by lunging forward and lifting his bum and legs up! He's only 5 months!!! I got it on video but can't upload it so here's the pics.Think I'm in trouble when he does start to crawl properly lol

jadey1991 · 31/05/2022 10:42

@lovebeingmum9 yes exactly it is going way too fast... tell me about it potty training at 5 weeks is bonkers. That's like me 18 months onwards.
Omg ladies Josiah did his first solid poop at 1:40am... I Sam's believe my eyes lol.

Anaya I hope you're all ok xx and babies are doing well xx

@lovebeingmum9 aww bless him what a big boy. Go Oscar. Very happy for you.

Josiah has that playmat. He loves it...
Josiah don't crawl forwards., he goes backwards lol 😂

OP posts:
lovebeingmum9 · 01/06/2022 06:28

Thanks @jadey1991 aw yeah all of ours have had this playmat (the older style and updated version) and Love it! Aw haha bless him but they will both soon be crawling in all directions 🙈 it's just crazy how quick it goes and we know that even more with older children the time just goes....wish there was a pause button! Aw must be all the new foods josiah is eating do you think has helped?I unfortunately had the opposite yesterday and 1st time it went up his back and needed change of clothes.....much prefer the solids lol 😆

jadey1991 · 01/06/2022 12:00

@lovebeingmum9 yeah I reckon it is the foods. I don't over do it tho. I only give him 2 meals a day. Breakfast and dinner. He loves sweet potato. He did another one yesterday. But he is ok. Bless him.

Yes I do agree with you I wish there was a pause button too.

Happy jubilee everyone! Hope your all enjoying the extra family time in the sun! 🇬🇧❤
Here's a few pics....we had a party today and just enjoying some chill time in the mornings without school runs! Even more special today as Oscar has cut not 1 but 2 teeth overnight! Just the very tips through but so cute to think all his smiles from now on will have little teeth poking up lol What's everyone been upto? 😊

@lovebeingmum9 hey hun nice to hear from you. Aww Oscar is the second one I know of now to have some teeth. Josiah has 2 but they are half way through now. He has them in the same place Oscar has his. Aww that's nice to hear. We haven't had no street parties. Your kids are just so adorable hun. All the boys and one girl how cute. Happy jubilee

I'm going out tomorrow for the first time without Josiah. I'm going bingo with my sister in laws and cousin in law. I think it will lovely. I had to stop my private job now because it just wasn't working around the kids. They were upset with me not being here at dinner times and to be honest it was kinda out of the way.

Josiah loves his food, he really like sweet potatoes he also did his first solid poop that hurt his bum the other day. I felt so bad for him.

Hope everyone is doing well

OP posts:
burtle4 · 04/06/2022 07:22

Oh wow @lovebeingmum9 I can't believe Oscar is nearly on the move and got teeth, they're growing up so quickly! Congratulations on the christening too, lovely pics, we're planning on having ours at the end of summer but my other two didn't get christened until well after their first birthday so I won't be surprised if I'm unorganised and his ends up being the same 🤦‍♀️
Dexter is teething like mad but has been for months so I'm not expecting to see anything anytime soon, he's also still not rolling but is trying really hard to by pushing his bum up off the floor with his legs whenever he's lying down, I can tell he's getting really frustrated as he does a lot of shouting!
He has solid poos quite a lot now, he usually has a couple of days of just pooing little hard nuggets and then finally he'll do a big one. He doesn't seem in pain or discomfort so I'm not too worried about it.
We had a lovely street party for the jubilee on Thursday. The majority of people on our street are quite elderly so they loved meeting and chatting to Dexter and he gave them lots of gummy smiles in response, was such a sunny day too ❤

jadey1991 · 05/06/2022 17:01
