@jadey1991 Spain is beautiful! I lived in Spain and went to secondary school for a couple of years and so it's like a home from home to me 😌 good point as I don't have vaccine either! Yes she will be doing 2 tests of 11+ (1 from area we live in and one from grammar school) aswell as sats.....lots of work for her but she has an amazing work ethic and knows what she wants and I'm just here to support where I can.....at 10 she's much brainier than hubby and I 😅

jadey1991 · 24/05/2022 14:45

@lovebeingmum9 aww that's lovely that must of been nice. I heard that Spain is accepting tourist who don't have vaccine. Did you not take the vaccine for a reason? Me and hubby didn't take it because we have had family members that took a turn for the worst when they had the vaccine. Plus I just feel that there isn't enough science behind it. Of course people have there own opinion.
Aww bless her that's good. My 2 daughters are brainier then me. Makes me look stupid lol🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

@jadey1991 I was pregnant when I was called up for the vaccine and it just didn't 'feel' right to get it with baby on board,so i kept putting off thinking after 12wks would be safer, after 20wks,32wks etc hubby has been double vaccinated but when we finally caught covid last month we both had it the same..... and now all these boosters has put me off wanting to get it.....even hubby has been put off as now needing to get boosters all the time. I go with my gut,and if something doesn't feel right to me then it's not right for me. Each to their own though I'm not anti the vac but it's a choice 😊
Haha aw thats lovely though as means our children have excelled, each generation better than the last!
Oscar said mum today 💙.....he's said it spontaneously before but he's babbling away more than ever now and says mum, mumma, bubba and what seems to be our eldest name ro (rose) 🥰
Anyone else got a chatterbox! lol

Hi ladies

Quick question.. have you ever thought about potty training your baby at 5 weeks old. I saw this article today and it blew my mind. apple.news/A-SmFpg0aR-KJJjIWRKopaw

jadey1991 · 24/05/2022 21:35

@tashx no probs hun... how are you? I'm glad Jesse is doing well and enjoying his food.

OP posts:
tashx · 24/05/2022 21:40

@jadey1991
I'm ok thanks hun
Jesse is back to sleeping thru the night

He doesn't roll over or anything, I think he is just lazy
He is very vocal and nearly sitting unaided

I'm back at work in August so working hard to get him into a nice little routine
But saying that
It's not hard to know what he wants
He shouts for food & if he doesn't want milk he pushes it away
😂
Hope all your family well x

Theawkwardblonde · 24/05/2022 21:44

Wow sorry everyone! Didn't see this new thread! Only saw when it was just mentioned on our old one.
Thanks @jadey1991 for setting it up! I'll have a read through and a catch up tomorrow!

jadey1991 · 24/05/2022 22:18

@tashx I'm glad your all well. Oh stop Jesse isn't the only one. Josiah doesn't roll yet either. I think he odds lazy to. He sits up on his own which is good. I've also noticed that when I put him on his front he tried to call but backwards a little so not long till he starts crawling🤦🏽‍♀️. Aww bless you are you look forward to going back to work?

@jadey1991
Yes in a way I can't wait to go back to work
I miss everyone but I'm also sad I'm going to miss Jesse so much
Tho I'm only going back three days a week

jadey1991 · 24/05/2022 22:30

@tashx aww bless you darling. I can imagine. Are you putting him in day care?
And also I forgot to reply to your question in last post.. my family are well thanks.. my youngest daughter had chicken pox but only had 4 so she is ok. She will be back to school tomorrow as she has been off for the past week. It's been so bad because she had to isolate in the front room away from Josiah.

OP posts:
tashx · 24/05/2022 22:35

@jadey1991

Bless her and fingers cross
Josiah doesn't get it 🤔
Tho I think it's better if they get it at a younger age
My son was only 11 months when he got chicken pox and he did don't even notice most of the time

My mum and my friend will take it in turns to have Jesse at my house and I work only 10 minutes from home

jadey1991 · 24/05/2022 22:47

@tashx oh really. I was told by doctors and pharmacist to keep him away because he is too young. Something like before 12 months it's severely dangerous... but I don't know I just kept them away from each other. I do hope he don't catch them tho.. aww bless your son. I suppose when there under 1 they don't tend to realise to they. Also that's nice at least you have a good support team around you x

@jadey1991 I queried the same thing recently because both my kids have been in contact with their cousin who came out in spots 2 days later.

apparently severely dangerous for newborns, not really dangerous for older babies but the immunity isn’t the same so higher chance of them developing it again or getting shingles in childhood

jadey1991 · 25/05/2022 00:29

@xTinkerbell did your kids come up with spots?

OP posts:
xTinkerbell · 25/05/2022 01:12

@jadey1991 so far no but we still have another week to go before we’re out the potential incubation period

jadey1991 · 25/05/2022 01:39

@xTinkerbell oh no. I hope they will be ok. Such a shame. I do hope they are okay.

Hello! All caught up. Good to see you're all doing well.
Baby S is grand over here. Sleeping fine and coming in loads.
Nothing exciting with me..dreading going back to work. I'm back in August so still a bit to go but it's got my anxiety through the roof. It's been a chill time for me being pregnant/Mat leave so the thought of going back to shifts etc has me worried.
Also DH and I are about 4 weeks away for trying first number 2 😂 must be mad! I've started all my pregnancy vitamins too so it's starting to feel very real 🤦🏼‍♀️

jadey1991 · 25/05/2022 09:42

@Theawkwardblonde hey hun glad all is well with you and baby S... oh bless you. You both must be excited? You have let us no ID you get a positive. Baby s will love having a sibling

OP posts:
Theawkwardblonde · 25/05/2022 10:17

@jadey1991 will do, I'm not exhevting it to happen quick mind. Took 18 months with S and that was with 3 losses. Hoping that the "still fertile" after pregnancy is still there 😂

jadey1991 · 25/05/2022 12:02

@Theawkwardblonde yes of course. You could be lucky to fall pregnant quickly.. oh no I'm really sorry to hear that. I lost 2 myself. Before I had my last 2 children. Then I feel pregnant with my youngest daughter. Once I had her it took me 7 years to fall pregnant with Josiah
