Too old for a Teddy?!

Do your 7 year olds still have teddies? I got my son a teddy and my mum said he’s “a bit old” he’s 7 and he’s “a boy”

Nay. You're never too old for a teddy. Some people are more cuddly than others. I slept with my two favourite teddies and Soft (my blankie) until I was married. I put them away reluctantly. I miss them a little even after all these years.

DS8 still loves his teddies. He's got tonnes on his bed, and I've just bought him a squishmallow and another one for Christmas. Really want to buy him the £5 giant teddies from Asda but think it's probably too much!

Never too old

My granddaughters are 10 and 7. The 7-year-old likes to cuddle a teddy in bed sometimes.

What? No! My husband still has his teddies. He’s 39.

My DS nearly 9 still loves his teddies and I know most of his friends do too.

Oh well, DS loved pandas as a young child, so we kept buying them as he felt sorry about living them alone on a shelf.

Last year I went out to a museum with a friend and found a small panda in the shop so I got it for him as a joke. I got home, he extended his arms towards the panda, put him against his chest and started stroking it while asking me about my day.

My 8 year old DD still loves teddies.
In fact, she seems to have got back into them again recently and likes them more than she did when she was little!

Ignore her. DP was away a couple of nights ago so I slept with my teddy and I am almost 27

DD1 is 19 and second year of Uni and has brought hers.
DD2 is 17 and the special rabbit DD that DD1 bought her is still a firm fixture.
I am 53 and suffice it to say that Leetee is still with me.
BFF is 57 and PB keeps her bed warm each day.
No-one is too old for a teddy.

My 7band 6 year old boys are currently playing with teddy's. they are both getting a little football teddy for xmas.

My 63yo dad has teddies on his bed. I don’t think he cuddles them.

He's 7. Let him be 7. They grow up to quick as it is. And you're never too old for a teddy. I have a 12yr old who sleeps with his every night.

I have a bear and my 7 year old now sleeps with him.
Both he and my 10 year old won’t let us give away their snugglies, they have an entire closet full but love them all so I don’t think it’s too old at all!

Weird thing for mum to say, your child so you decide. Never to old for a teddy. I still have the one given to me when I was born and I'm now 38!

I still have mine and I am 50

My son is 8 and adores his teddies. I wouldn't dream of not letting him have it. You know what's right for your son , not your mum.
