What to call step- grandfather?

My mum has asked that her first grandchild calls her nana. She's only a baby so not calling her anythibgb right now! We call her nana but what should we call her partner. I was thinking maybe papa followed by his 1st name.

I had step-grandparents on both sides. They we're know as Uncle/Auntie-name.

My 'non biological' dad is called grandad x.

I'm not sure there is a need to come up with anything different.

My stepdad is just Granddad xxx to my dd, she doesn't know or care about any difference between him and her biological Granddad - who she knows as Popsie!

by his name, he is not a 'step grandad' he is a man who lives with your mum.

My father in law wanted to be grandad, so my mum's husband is grandpa, he was grandpa first name, but that only lasted for about a month.

We have Pops too. I'm Auntie when the roles are reversed.

We could have become additional GPs but didn't want to tread on anyone's toes.

My parents are Granny X and Grandpa Y to my step kids. they asked of ot was ok when I had dd as they didn't want her to think it was odd that her grandparents weren't theirs too

Grandad first name too. This is only because my dad died and he was grandad. Otherwise why worry about the step. Just grandad if he is comfortable with it

ive called mine Grandpa Name to twll apart from regular grandpas but depends if there are any other grandpas around!

My step-grandmother was Aunty X. My grandmother died before I was born, so it's not like there was any blood grandmother to have her nose put out of joint.

Other options are of course Grandpa Lastname or just Firstname.

As a step-grandmother I am known simply by my name. Ask your stepdad what he would like.

I had a step-granddad who was Granddad Sam. He was my only granddad and I didn't realise he wasn't my dad's dad until I was about 8 or so, by which point it didn't matter.

My friend's stepdad is known as GrandRob to her little boy which I think is very sweet. His name being Rob obviously.

my DCs call my step dad grandaddy.
my dad is grandad and they have no grandads on their dads side
