Hello I have a DD 2.6 and a 9mth DS. My DD is now interested in what boys bits are because she sees them in the bath every day.
What do you call the genetalia with your children?
We've slipped into 'tinky winky' for his little willy but what do you say for a girl? I can't remember having a childhood name for mine!

I'm with curtain twitcher on this one, why make up names. In our house it's willies all round as I don't have girls. My ds1 has asked me about my bits, and whether I might buy a willy at a shop (as I think he is worried about me feeling left out).
Anyway when he asked me what my bits were called, I said Vagina (there are so few slang names for us except really horrible ones) and he just shortened it to "jina"

well there's all these people coming along to antenatal classes who think they wee out their vaginas. and think that their foofs dilate to ten cm in labour.
oh and some bloke in one class apparently fainted at the word vagina and knocked himself unconcious, had to call an ambulance.
I blame you, yes each and every one of you wtih your "flowers" and flipping tinky winkies.....

Jazzi, how old are your boys, is that something that I have to look forward to, my oldest is three, so maybe in a few years he will start to amprothomorhpthisise his willy. God don't know how to spell that word at all ( I think it means to make something, usually an animal, human. So much for trying to be clever

my exh thought girls weed out of their vaginas. I was didn't think anyone could be that stupid. He refused to believe me on where the clit is situated too. Thank god i divorced him!

Willies are just willies. Girls' bits are girl bottoms or front bottoms, although ds1 refers to my "tickly bit".

I do like him a lot Overrun, and also my real life DH looks not dissimilar to Mr Cusack (well, the resemblance is slipping every day, still we none of us are getting any younger)

Overrun, they are 3.5 and 1.5, but dp calls it that!! He very lovingly calls girls bits 'the gash' yuk, really hate that!!!
