  3. there is NO going bakc
do not start if oyu are going ot poof out
  1. remmeber it is hard work - hence hte training - yes life will be more difficult for a couple of weeks
  2. do NOT use pull ups for day time naps or anythin short of a 2 hour journey
  3. night training is a wholey seperate issue

Final tally for today:

4 wees in toilet (3 standing up on stepstool, 1 sitting on trainer seat) Grin Grin

1 wee accident ( but on kitchen floor which needed a clean anyway...)

But...and I know cod's going to crucify me for this [shame] I ended up having to put the nappy back on - for 10 minutes only! - for a poo. We have had slight holding-back/constipation issues anyway and I don't want to make them worse - he screamed blue murder at pooing in potty or toilet. Aaargh. But after that the pants went back on and no probs, honest.

So not bad for day 1, I reckon.

snafu · 12/04/2006 20:01

I know, I know, I know. But the wriggling, and the screaming, and the weeping, and the bloody trainer seat kept slipping and, oh it was shocking.

snafu · 12/04/2006 20:02

looneytune · 12/04/2006 20:06

COD

I thought it might be worse due to housefull. And today we had another friend and toddler round most of day so it was a bit more mental than usual.

Do you think I should move the potty out of the room or stick with it in lounge wear it's nearer?

snafu · 12/04/2006 20:07

I need more pants, more chocolate buttons, more guts, more glory Grin

looneytune · 12/04/2006 20:07

looneytune · 12/04/2006 20:08

cod · 12/04/2006 20:09

snafu you have got to work harder to get fishy praise

you are facing relegation

looneytune · 12/04/2006 20:11

Right, will keep nearby and tell him to go when he needs to and I'll assist if he asks.

Thanks.

I promise I won't give in (although feel like it!) At least after tomorrow there will be 4 days with just us again :)

Passionflower · 12/04/2006 20:20

snafu, DD2 used to hold on to poo and constipate herself. Increase fibre in diet. Also I used to hold DD2 down on the toilet seat (kicking and screaming) and tickle her until she let it go. Worth a try no? Better I think then putting a nappy back on. She took six months to poo train. I am hardcore me. Grin

snafu · 12/04/2006 20:49

Six months?? Yeesh. OK, no wimping out and being fluffymummy from now on, promise. Don't want any fishwhacks.

Must get trainer seat that doesn't shoot across bathroom at vital moments, though...

alittlebitshy · 12/04/2006 20:52

can you explain how it shot across abthroom. I can't picture it...... (though i want to lol)

am going to try to be stronger tomorrow and to get out at least once to keep us both a bit more cheerful. and stop getting on dh's very busy nerves!!

Latz · 12/04/2006 20:53

The only thing i can say is keep going.
Yesterday I was going to give up but today was miles better. alittlebitshy its gotta get better tomorrow - I expect I'll have a worse day but I can't be bothered to go back to nappies now.

PS HAve had terrible hand eczema since dd born and now in just over 2 days it has improved rapidly - am so happy!

snafu · 12/04/2006 21:04

Maybe slight exaggeration there, alittlebitshy - it didn't actually hit the wall Grin

cod · 12/04/2006 21:05
