2 TMAs due in the next 7 days. What, worry -me?

Thanks WSP, finished about 2am this morning, 'Turneditin' then and handed it in before my 11am lecture - the deadline was 4pm. Definitely not my best work but hopefully answered the questions! :)

I've just found an 8 page pdf about the 7 habits - very interesting reading.

So three assignments in February and an exam... oh joy and delight!

It's also my Mums 80th birthday, two of the children are moving house with me being Mrs. Shifter, I've got to learn some mandarin before a trip in April, DH now living closer so I sort of feel 'obliged' to spend every weekend at his new house sorting it out....

Oh bloody hell. Why do I always end up with other stuff to do at the same time as an essay thus negating the possibility of any rational thought? Because I left all of them to the last minute and now they've all bitten me on the arse

I'm not sure where I am, tbh. The 3 week max deadline by the tutor has passed so I emailed her asking whether I should call Student Support to ask for further extension (to submit a day later). Called them,they asked how long do I want the extension for, I said few days(as have forgotten I tutor a day ) they said, ok, we will email you later with confirmation (and tutor said to tell them she was happy with it). Thye never got back to me and I got ill (horrid, horrid sore throat/headache) so I haven't submitted. I am not still not feeling great tbh.

Tomorrow. I have workmen coming to fix a leak and plaster the ceiling today and tomorrow

And I haven't read the relevant chapters and my head aches and I can't get motivated.

Sorry you're feeling ill - which one is this for you, the creative writing or the 20C lit?

Due by midnight.
I am not enjoying it at all. I feel like I have writers block, and and stuck in sludge/tar or something.
Bloody critical analysis. I wouldn't mind if the papers were interesting, but they are so bloody boring, it hurts my brain.
And epistemology and ontology? I was told there should be at least a paragraph and I have 2 sentences.
If I submit late, its a 5% penalty (on actual marks received) per day.
Plodding on.....

Hello, fellow procrastinators - congratulations to all who've had good results and best of luck to anyone struggling with a deadline ATM!

Managed to get my essay done and delivered only a week late . Feel like such an eejit though , once I'd managed to get focussed and overcame my writers block it took only 1.5. hours to complete, along with all Harvard referencing present and correct. Feel so so stupid.

Managed to get 20 minute Powerpoint presentation completed and delivered last week and now only have tiny 1,000 word essay left (90% completed) for this Wednesday. Will then be all finished for this semester! Still have reflective work diary and work placement presentation to produce for my Work Placement Module, but we have had our submission deadline extended until mid-March. (whew!)

I'm still bloody at it.
Another 1k to go.
It would have been so simple or at least easier if I actually understood the second paper. I just don't know enough about statistics to comment on it properly, despite help and decent reading material.
Luckily there were some problems with the uploading software, so it doesn't have to be in til tomorrow. Except I have to be at work at 8.30

I just submitted mine with minutes to spare.

I'm vowing that next time I will be more organised and dedicated.

I did, will have to keep fingers crossed for a pass. The second paper critique was woeful. And I really didn't have enough references. I finally finished at about 3.15. I then had to convert it to PDF which I can't do on my mac so I had to email it to my notebook, but it took ages to get there,, I then tried to upload it and got the message that I couldn't upload it as I had already uploaded to that module. Eh No!
I assumed it was the same problem that others had had so I passed out and woke at 7.40.
I tried again but no joy, so I emailed it with the details of my problem to my tutor. I kept trying at work and managed to upload it at 11.40, so 12 hrs late.
She said my problem was different to the other people who had issues.
Will have to wait and see. Have no idea whether or not I will get docked marks, but possibly not. Hope not, as they arent actually going to be that good really.
One of the guys in my class was wondering what the penalties for too many words was as he had managed to get to 8k and had to do some paring back. EIGHT I barely scraped 2800

I have to say I have had the worst weekend, have never felt so stressed in my life.
Maybe I'll be better the next time. I mean I know I do work better under pressure but that was ridiculous.

Well done people on getting stuff handed in.

My next one is due on the 10th, so have got to get my head down as I am working 5 of those days and going on a jaunt for another one, so effectively I have 4 days really should have started before today.

Anyone still flailing in the horror of essay writing; you have my sympathy and GET BLOODY ON WITH IT!
