Hes soooooo gorgeous and hes all mine! I'm on such a high right now, don't know how long it'll last though.

I didn't have to be induced, I didn't even have to wait till my due date a healthy baby and no stitches! I'm ecstatic! The relief of it all being over is wonderful. Now I'm going to concentrate on remembering every last detail of his face before this stage passes away too.

Come on Cha and Ailsa!

It has gone on for a few days the slight sickiness then worsened today so dont think its something ive eaten - he hasnt had a dirty nappy since this morning which is unusual for him and only one wet nappy

ANGELMOTHER · 24/11/2003 17:52

So hard to know isn't it, dd2 has been so ill since Thursday no sign of this horrid cold and cough clearing. She used to go up to a week without a poo but now it's every day.
Take him to the docs tomorrow if only to put your mind at ease.

wiltshire · 24/11/2003 23:51

Sorry I can't help becca, but I have had so many ailments with DS that I don't know what is right or wrong anymore. I just phone everyone in the whole world up and check all the old notice boards on MN until I am satisfied that my son isn't really really ill.

As for DP/DH's. I think they must all be the bloody same. We had the first sets of prints done as well. He wanted to send them to some bloody distant relative who I didn't really know. I have to say that we had words about this. I was not letting go of my baby photos. If people wanted to go and buy a pc so that they could look, then ok. But - giving any away - absolutely not. However I sent them to 'my' friends & family which is really rotten.

Oh and this is a classic. My DH has his own business so is his own boss. Well apparently not, because at about 11pm FRiday he wanted to know if I had got any money from the bank that day so he could go to the pub on Sat to watch the Rugby. I hadn't. The reason for this was my washing machine blew up (11 years old) so I needed to go and get another. Luckily for me a neighbour had a big enough motor to go with me and buy one and bring it back. However, I couldn't really take DS, so had to find someon to look after him. Wasn't hard, neighbours love the little mite. So after all of this crap, DH wanted to moan. I was so annoyed as he can use his switch card in the pub and get cash back but my DH is really old fashioned and thinks that you should have cash for everything and the idea of getting money from a pub is a big no no. What a tosser!!!!!!!!! I even posted on MN that I was going with him but after that, he could poke it!

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 00:07

Oh, haven't really explained this properly. If my DH works for him self, why the fuck can't he go to the bank and sort himself out? Just because I am at home at the moment doesn't mean I have lost temporary use of my brain functions and become a Stepford Wife.

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 00:09

should be hisself? Grammar police

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 00:12

Just to add something here, for Becca, I did read that if your baby throws up 2 whole feeds in a row, you should seek medical help. God knows what that means in plain English, Have you ever put anyones vomit in a jug and measured it?

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 01:26

Where the hell is oakmaiden?

Beccarollo · 25/11/2003 09:04

Hi

Thanks for the messages peeps - I rang nhs direct last night and they said to keep an eye and bring him in if he got hot, listless, constant vomiting or if diaroreah started and he wasnt feeding.

He has been ok overnight - he went to bed at 6.30pm and went through til 5am, had a feed, brought it up, went back to sleep woke up at 8.45, had a feed, brought some of it and is now kicking on his mat!

Not sure what to do now, he is obviously not desperately ill after sleeping such a spell without being sick but the problem is still there, I hope its not just something we have to live with now as Im permanently stinking of sick and so is he!

Oh and when I changed his nappy (he still hasnt had a dirty one, there looked to be a tiny patch of blood in it?!! Any thoughts???

ANGELMOTHER · 25/11/2003 09:32

Doctor Becca, ring and get an apointment this morning

Beccarollo · 25/11/2003 09:38

Baby Clinic is on today also, do you think I should just take him along there and explain to HV whats been happening or make seperate appt with doc?

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 11:09

with the blood in his nappy I would take him to the doctors. good luck

adell · 25/11/2003 11:16

Becca, I agree with the others, time for the doctor - if by any chance you get an obstructive receptionist, insist. Let us know how he is.

Bekki · 25/11/2003 13:00

Hi Bekki, I've put you on my list although as beccarollo knows I can never chat for long. 3 inconsiderate boys always need something when I'm chatting.....Huh the cheek of them

wiltshire · 25/11/2003 14:11

I am on MSN instant messaging. I know this is a sad name but I put it on about 4 years ago when I was being sill & never changed it. If anyone wants to add me to their contacts feel free.

Bekki · 26/11/2003 19:53

Finally Alex is down. I don't know how long I can do this pick up put down thing I ache all over. It very stressful.

Alex had his first jabs. I cried, he wasn't bothered. My mum had to take him as I'm such a wimp.

O.k I can't get msn working, it cut off last night and I can't get signed in, so I'll add you when i can. I'm off to get a stiff drink, I'll be an alchy at this rate.

Was it any better than last night Bekki? Is it at least improving a little bit?

Bekki · 26/11/2003 20:11

Well Tracy Hogg says that the second night it should take half the time and it did, so I'm quite impressed. If I'm honest the other nights that I tried it I didn't follow her rules completly.

All my conversations seem to start with "Well Tracy Hogg/The baby whisperer says...."
