bookmarking - had a lurk but not posted in ages.

I'm intrigued about the new Itti's.

The BG hype was way over the top, & I much prefer bright colours.

Glad others have discovered the Rump A Rooz love, all mine, think I have 9, have come from the states. Lovely, lovely bright colours & definitely hold the most fluid without any leaking or wicking. I love, love, love them.

Not bought any new nappies in ages, everything is working brilliantly at the moment.

Where do you think would be the best place to sell my size 1 bamboo LL set of 20?

bagpuss · 06/08/2010 23:31

Just bookmarking too Smile.

Mumface, I have pram envy why oh why do bugaboo not do a double? Us twin mums are seriously deprived.

Tree Sad for skirty. I have one on order for the autumn, can't wait. I have also bought some amber teething necklaces (I shared the link on FB earlier) but shhh don't tell dh.

I have decided I have too many end of the day nappies. They are all great and very pretty but just don't work well unless I use them at the end of the day. What do you all use in your WNOS? I still have yet to perfect the stuffing in ours. Also my last two BGV2 are on their way out which is annoying as it means I won't have all the colours unless I replace, or unless I can fix the elastic.

treedelivery · 06/08/2010 23:34

leeetle bookmark

I have no WNOS. CAn that be right? have2 upsydaisy pockets, I use a mcrofibre and some hemp or bamboo. 2 lots of either if I need some staying power.

Hmm, I use mf and hemp but find them not as good together in the WN as they are in others. I think because the WN are quite narrow through the crotch. I may take the inserts out of my nature babies which live in the changing bag. The nature babies are a bit dull but the inserts are good and would cost nearly the price of the whole nappy to buy alone. I am tempted to use them for spares rather than sell them as I had planned.

MrsDimples · 07/08/2010 00:10

I use a blueberry insert in my only WNOS, but only let R wear in with nothing over the top as it wicks, (if that's the correct term),terribly. She is very skinny though. I love the look of the nappy, our only custom, but it is one of our worst performing Sad.

mumface · 07/08/2010 09:12

Connor is wearing his strawberry stretchy pop and I am seriously impressed. I thought it would be a novelty nappy more cute than functional, but it's a super fit, really well made and no signs of any wicking. The green is actually lime on mine not the green in the picture. If only all the prints were minky. Is has to be the cutest nappy ever.

My free Maclaren seat liner is here! it's lovely. It's reversible, a green football pitch on one side with embroidered footballs (my pushchair is green and black so a good match) and grey faux suede on the other.

treedelivery · 07/08/2010 10:59

Oooo that liner sounds the business. Am excited about mine now.

That stawberry one is the one I meant myjob. And now we know they are actually usefull, not just pretty, it would be a shame not too Grin
Have you thought of using tiny safety pins on aplix - I'm going too. Just so she can't whip her nappy off.

Nights tonight, after 2 weeks off. It's going to hurt. Just waved dd1 off for a week with her nanna, and dd2 went along too. Just for the drive. Dh is taking dd1 to the mainline tran station 45 miles away in the city, and so I have house to self. Feelng like a bit of damp cotton wool, what with saying bye to dd1, and having work loom.

Ignoring laundry etc and have hopped back into bed with tea and sandwich. Yay!
Been up since 6, and forgot to eat. So enjoyed it very much!

mumface · 07/08/2010 11:11

Have listed a Bugaboo bag and set of covers on here if any Cam owners are interested. May well sell the lot in the end if I love the bee. House/shed starting to look like pram world.

Need to try settle to sleep about 1. The more sleep today, the less I feel like vomiting around 4am GrinHmm

treedelivery · 07/08/2010 11:33

PHEW..She was refusing to put one on after how much it originally wicked..could have been nightmare being as i recieved 10more yesterday dh wouldnt have been impressed.

Stiil love the rumparooz..but why are nice cloth nappies so pricey!?

MrsDimples · 07/08/2010 14:37

on the Rump a rooz facebook this week, "Rumparooz that date back to 2008 have been made with biodegradable polyester and TPU (not PUL which is toxic). This means that when composted, these components with biodegrade in as little as 4-5 year"

MrsDimples · 07/08/2010 14:39

just looked at that Strawberry nappy & it is literally, delicious. what type of nappy is it?

mumface · 07/08/2010 15:39

It's an AI2 similar to an Itti inside but snaps at both ends, folds in half and a free floating booster in the middle. It lasted 4 and a half hours over his nap time without leaking and no pre wash. I love it. Still can't work out how you would use it on small or medium though. The tabs are a stretchy lycra material.

mumface · 07/08/2010 22:20

Have you seen these fake Bugaboos on ebay miwheels They fall apart apparently Shock

OP posts:
4andnotout · 07/08/2010 23:15

I think someone on the pushchair shed thread had/has one and just replaced all the fabric with bug ones and it was fine, don't see the point of the car seat though as it hasn't got the relevant safety certificate to use in the uk so what's the point is including one? Personally I'd prefer a 2nd hand bug as some go for only a few quid more.

mumface · 08/08/2010 10:08

Not long till new Itti launch.....
