You named him after our stallion ... only fitting I suppose since we named our pup after you

Berrie · 28/07/2010 07:25

Hello! Hope you are enjoying puppy. Have kids broken up yet?

Berrie · 06/08/2010 07:22

Hello, I sent you an e-mail but I guess you can't pick them up when away. We break up early here so they have been off 3 weeks already. It was good/bad timing being as we are pretty stuck at home as the puppy is not clear to go out until next week. He has pooed in my boot 3 times now and despite my best efforts with shower curtains and newspaper he manages to squit on my car. Last night he was in his crate and pooed. Dh went to sort him out in the night but this morning there is still poo flicked up my fridge, dishwasher, washing machine etc. sigh. I knew there would be poo but even so ... He has severe separation anxiety in the mornings but seems more relaxed in the afternoons. I am hoping that once he can go for a walk he will be too tired to care. Have you any tips on him nipping the kids? It's partly their body language they tend to turn away and are a bit scared of him. He doesn't do it to us.
He is lovely! Smile I'm just a bit pooed out today!
What have you been doing?
Hope your holiday is going well.

Hiya Grin Sorry, haven't checked my emails.
How long are the journeys? Is he pooing every time he goes on a journey?
How is he doing with the house training?
How is the cough?

Berrie · 06/08/2010 12:42

The last 3 journeys he has done it. The last one was 2 minutes up the road to the vets - the others were 5, 10 minutes or so. He was fine before that, he just barked. he seemed to have stopped barking but now we have poo instead.

His cough is fine.
He goes outside at home but the door is permanently open for him. I worry that he won't learn to ask though.

Hello Smile

How are you getting on?
I'm home again and back on Windows Live Messenger.

LyraSilvertongue · 16/08/2010 23:39

I can't remember when I last posted here. Hope you are both well.
Berrie, you've got a dog! How is he settling in?
Oggs, where are you home from? Parents?
Been busy here with the boys home all day, had lots of days out and lazy days at home. We've watched all six Harry Potter films (our library had a two for one DVD deal) and the boys are now big fans. DS1 had his 8th birthday on the 12th and we went to Thorpe Park and out for Japanese food in the evening, and a bowling party with his friends on Saturday.
Today we had nice weather so we spent the day at Kew Gardens.
Busy organising for our holiday. Cost £80 to pre-book plane seats, such a rip-off!! But we couldn't risk doing an 8-hour flight sitting separately. We've all had our jabs, got to buy supplies (mostly of mozzie repellant) and pack, which means tackling the washing mountain.
Been spending lots of time on the Muse board (Wembley's coming up in a few weeks, received my tickets today, yay) and the music threads on here.
That's all my news, very potted version Grin

Hello stranger Smile

Yes, back from my parents. Dd and I were there for just over 2 weeks.

Ooh. Just remembered. Coincidence! There was a natural history series last year called Lost Land of the Volcanoes. My brother put it on a dvd for us but we only got around to watching it the week before we went away. Long story short... there is a photographer in it who I really like (I'd seen him before in a previous series Lost Land of the Jaguar). Really lovely fella and cute too.
Gues who was at the airport and on our flight?? Grin

Where are you off to? (sorry if you've told us, my memory is crap)

LyraSilvertongue · 17/08/2010 17:19

Dominican Republic. I'm worried about getting ill (though we're all vaccinated against the really bad stuff) and the wildlife (tarantulas - eek!). But the hotel's a 4* plus and I've read loads of reviews and it seems very clean and beautiful and it's right on the beach. We're all inclusive so as much food and drink as we want 24 hours a day. No cooking or cleaning for two weeks, yay!

LyraSilvertongue · 17/08/2010 17:37

What did you do when you saw the object of your desire? Did you get an autograph? Grin

ghostofoggs · 17/08/2010 19:36

Did I buggery! I was way too embarrassed. He caught me ogling him more than once Grin
We just happened to exit the plane immediately behind him so I was trying to listen in to his conversation all the way through the terminal to the exit Grin

LyraSilvertongue · 22/08/2010 00:02

Off to DR. See y'all in a couple of weeks.
