The hell w/him, sparkly! Does he have two disabled children as well? Don't let him rain on your parade. He's just jealous.

sparklymieow · 30/06/2005 23:05

and that he wishes he was with the council and how they are struggling to afford a 2 bed house

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 30/06/2005 23:06

And he thinks that having two disabled children is some sort of picnic? He needs to get a grip.

misdee · 30/06/2005 23:07

ring ring

misdee · 30/06/2005 23:07

get off the phone woman!!

misdee · 30/06/2005 23:08

BIL seems to think me and mieow think we have a great life. i;d switch my money and my cosy little bunglow for struggling to afford a house if dh was in the best of health.

sparklymieow · 30/06/2005 23:09

DH is talking to his dad

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 30/06/2005 23:11

I would tell him to take a hike. He's being ridiculous to begrudge two disabled children a suitable place to live.

I agree, misdee. There's no way we can afford to buy a home - any home - but health is wealth, IMO.

sparklymieow · 30/06/2005 23:14

he just doesn't think before he types.....

OP posts:
misdee · 30/06/2005 23:14

he just doesnt think

Weatherwax · 01/07/2005 09:35

The unfairness lies in the disabilities of your children and in Peters illness. If he wants to swap lives with either of you he needs to see the Dr about his depression. I would love to have the strength of you too. I would never wish to have what life has throwen at you, that is the unfairness of it all

sparklymieow · 01/07/2005 10:38

Sis and BIL have one DD who is perfect, and they chose to buy a house, They were renting from a friend for a while, cheap rent. They both have well paid jobs but live beyond their means, the have remortaged twice in a year.

sparklymieow · 01/07/2005 14:20

when I came back from Speech therapy with dd2 they were outside, and I had to pick my shopping in, they didn't say a word to me, they might have been laughing at me, but I ignored them. They seem to ignore me, which is good.
I want to get into the new house NOW

OP posts:
lousH · 02/07/2005 13:20

yes and get ready for that lovely feeling of leaving them to fester as you move forward and on.

Best
of luck

sparklymieow · 02/07/2005 13:21

want to know how we got so much crap though....... can't believe the amount we are throwing out atm and we are only doing the kitchen atm

OP posts:
lousH · 02/07/2005 13:31

yes is hard work, but is a great time to dump all the junk a family builds up ( and keeps " just in case")-lol
