Just got a letter from the HA saying I have been offered a plot number for a 4 bed house on the new estate in the next town!!!!!!!! It will be ready in November..........

I said to Dh that if we turn it down we will be offered a tiny 3 bed somewhere.......

start saving, as soon as u get a moving date, we're going shopping for new furniture for your new life my dear!!

I think we ought to organise a big sparklymieow moving in pressie nearer the time - maybe we can all put in to a kitty?

Well done Sparkly! The house should have a downstairs loo as it is regulation now for all new builds - they do come in very handy. Our doorways are also a bit wider than normal.

Your rent is dirt cheap, we pay £72 per week approx for a 2 bed! And as DH works we do have to pay it, and pay monthly which screws up their system, heehee!

I think its because most housing here is council, but becuase they were sued a few years back, the council have no money to build new houses, so all the HA houses have to go through the coucnil and the rents have to be affordable
