Ok so you may have read about my problems on the smear thread, instead of worrying, decided to get totally and utterly pi$$ed tonight. I hate drinking alone so what can I get you.

No-body puts baby in a corner.

"I've had the time of my life, and I owe it all to you".

Doctor also advised me to drink cranberry juice, I wonder if she would mind if I put a vodka in it.

breeze · 30/05/2003 20:17

and by vodka I mean a bottle

Nah... it's sure to be OK.

bought the Cd the other day "back to the old skool club classics" its fab, just put it on and DH and I were listening when ultra nate came on "your free, do what you want to do" and I sang "your free, because no-body would pay for you" DH nearly choked on his drink and DS just came down and asked if I was alright. No-body appreciates my tone-deaf voice.

Thinking of changing my name too (seems the done thing at the moment) still keeping a slight reference to my old name, DH suggests fart, but I think not. Any other suggestions.

Too pissed to serve anyone else, so help yourself please.

breeze, you're actually about to re-invent the cosmopolitan: vodka (a lot), cranberry juice, then add Cointreau and a bit of lemon, ice, sit back and sip elegantly, or later in the evening guzzle it down sitting on the floor straight from the cocktail shaker, and finally polish off the vodka bottle before going to bed, if you can find it. Have fun!

scoobysnax · 30/05/2003 20:31

Tornado?
Waft?

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:32

I'm very sad and find it impossible to work out who the changed names used to be. I've only just found out who Codswallop used to be.

Frenchgirl · 30/05/2003 20:32

How about 'prout' for a new name? yes, it's fart in french, don't you find it cute???

ZsaZsa · 30/05/2003 20:33

E Z BREE Z?

breeze · 30/05/2003 20:34

Frenchgirl, what exactly did you mean by finding the empty vodka bottle and have fun

OP posts:
TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:36

You wouldn't be able to do much with my vodka bottle - it's a 3l one!!

breeze · 30/05/2003 20:36

Wanna bet

OP posts:
scoobysnax · 30/05/2003 20:36

Draft?
Mistral?

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:37

Well, if you've just polished off a 3l bottle, I'd be surprised if you could have fun with anything!

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:38

(I was going to say something about needing a 3l bottle being one of the perils of childbirth but decided against it.)

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:39

Doh!

breeze · 30/05/2003 20:39

Might not have been full when I opened it

used to drink vodka, but since ds major light-weight and can manage the odd malibu.

"Sylph" is the "Greek word for a female spirit of the element of air: An invisible angel, whose voice might be heard in the breeze.

ZsaZsa · 30/05/2003 20:42

A gentle wind: zephyr. See BREATH. 2. Informal. An easily accomplished task: child's play, cinch, pushover, snap, walkaway, walkover. Slang : duck soup
Duck soup?

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:42

I used to be able to drink vodak in enormous quantities too. Sigh. Those days are gone...

Actually, vodka is the one thing I can still drink without getting squiffy after just one glass.

TheOldDragon · 30/05/2003 20:43

I used to be able to type correctly too.
