Camo I did I did. I have wrote the letter yesterday and will be in the post today. Thanks though. I have reclaimed all my charges back once as soon as that came out, mind you were mot much at all over 6 years, probably as much as they charged me last week.

Yes JB's take on woman/child was my first idea but then you said that mum seems nice - mind you is not all what it seems obviosly. Maybe she vitness violence and such behavious on a reg basis. boh

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 10:49

Teething sleepless nights here too Camo. Actually last night was the first night she did not wake up. The past for she was in agony and ended up in our bed which she doesn't even like much, she prefers her own really , unlike bigpippi who if you let her she'd live hanging off you like babbuini .

JV what's the matter? I feel my bad mood is lifting. Tast night I have treated dh like he was rubbish on the sole of my shoe and invisible for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Must make it up today.

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 10:52

BTW I have watched 'Paris Je T'aime' last night and loved it.
Anyone else seen it? You with a french obsession McC/JB?

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 10:55

same thing. DS is always trying any excuse to come to bed with us. DD on the other end, who slept with us for the first 2 months, sees our bed like either a prison or a climbing frame, we tried taking her to bed with us last night, but just kicks everyone and everything, til we put her back in hers

JB, watch that berlusca head-tap, and you'll feel better

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 11:00

Yes that's right, off to watch it again - 'tis hilarious!!

Camo I cannot wait for both our mini to meet up. They sound so similarly feisty! God help us! All other children are scared when they see minipippi approaching - she looks all sweet to me but she must have a british bulldog look when she heads for some toys!

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 12:52

they do sound similar! minicamo's sweet, cute and tiny (well, to me maybe cos DS was a lot bigger) but when she sees other kids.... god save THEM, even the 6y olds at friend's DD's b-party were retreating as she approached them

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 12:54

LOL! Will be a Rocky-Apollo match when we meet up then !

Talking of meet-up nothing was decided then was it. Must put date in calendar though.

Sputnik · 14/10/2009 13:59

Can I join the bags under eyes club please? Was up til 2.30 as getting DS to sleep without bf is not going well. Beau Travail isn't working anymore, I need a new strategy. Part of the problem is he shares aroom with DD and I don't want to disturb her.

Pippi your DCs really sound like mine, DD is a total wimp and has been known to freak when she notices a week-old scratch, whereas DS is a lover of danger and requires serious injury to start crying. Lol at clinging on like a babuino!

Rosa · 14/10/2009 14:00

teething whats that ??? Minirosa still has 'O' teeth so am waiting for a huge growth and have Calpol at the ready ! Mind you she was up at 5 and then after 2 attempts in her cot she stayed in our bed but normally she potters in her cot - might be as I have changed her grobag and it is a bit harder to move round in.
Bug**er its colds today.
Franca how are you doing ???
Congrats to Buch for the party and am so at the Barbie campervan must put it on DD Xmas list !!!!!!

Can I just say something irrelevant? I hate it how a mixture of the following: lack of time to reflect, ponder and assess and the easyness of MN have resulted in the sandard of my grammar, punctuation, spelling, sentence construction e chi piu' ne ha piu' ne metta to reach an all time low .

I used to take so much pride whereas now, as it is all a battle against children time, everything goes as long as I make myself understood.

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 14:35

lol Pippi, children, eh, who invented them ?!

Rosa, minicamo's first tooth came out at 10.5 months, the second over a month later and that's it, she's 13 months and just 2 bottom teeth (not that that stops her in gnawing everything she can ) but constantly rubbing gums

chilly here too, and grey

JB, still grumpy?

yes, still on for 26, will have both DCs too. looking forward to proper chat (and no need to watch spelling and punctuation!)

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 14:39

sputnik, hope tonight's better, poor DS....

JavierBardem · 14/10/2009 14:51

Yes,grumpy lady today, not sure why, usual i guess, no time to ponder, wanting to be alone, big list of boring things to do, just chores. Had a nice couple of hours tyding up family photos whilst dd napped, but that is NOT ENOUGH. Bless her, she is very relaxed I must say, ds was always climbing, destroying books, pulling wires, she is just superrelaxed. boh!
I would love to be alone for a week, is it too much to ask?

Hope yuour teething kids get better soon, mine seems to have done all her teething already, she has almost a full mouth!

Have a washing machine to empty, since yesterday, but not sure i should put the clothes outside...blahhhhh

Put Paris t'aime on my list, i had heard about it, sounds like my cuppa.

Teletubbies on now for dd..

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 16:39

just in case, thought I'd let you know that I've just got an e-mail from work that there's a spam e-mail going round from no-reply at hmrc dot gov dot uk, that asks to review tax statement etc. Just delete it, if you click on the link in it it'll collect data.

JavierBardem · 14/10/2009 16:47

Thank you camo, good to know!

TheMysticMasseuse · 14/10/2009 16:55

Pippi: www.moneymadeclear.fsa.gov.uk/news/product/unauthorised_overdraft_charges_test_case.html

I am brief as in Geneva househunting. quite depressing. beautiful sunny cold days, the city is ok, but i can't shake the feeling something's not quite right. although it is quite nice to be without kids (left them with my mum, poor her...).

will write more when i am back.xx

Camomilla · 14/10/2009 17:01

good luck MM and enjoy the childfree break!

JavierBardem · 14/10/2009 17:49

I would go to Mondragone if it meant being without the kids.

Is Geneva a beautiful city? I have good memories of it..

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 18:56

LOL at Mondragone!!! (Gosh even hearing the name bring all the nightmarish feelings I was having while reading the book.) But so would I.

Thanks MM I will certainly open the link once children are in bed...which is very very soon! And yes try to enjoy the childlessness bit of it and we are waiting kirsty and phil type of property description.

Must bake cake tomorrow for my first school cake sale ! Hope won't poison anyone.
oh here comes minipippi wanting to pres the off button... ciao

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 19:00

minipippi is in bed - one to go !

gio71 · 14/10/2009 19:05

Hate banks Pippi - they are evil with their charges. Look at Martin's website here and threaten to take the bastards for whatever you can and tell them to stop trying to make up their billions lost through greed with unlawful charges! Breathe!
www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges
Hope all the non sleepers have a better night tonighto

DamonBradleylovesPippi · 14/10/2009 19:06

MM have read it. Very useful to know thanks very much. Will keep checking the website. In the meantime letter has been sent.

francaghostohollywood · 14/10/2009 19:33

Hi there!
My cold is a bit better, thanks for asking rosa, but my lips are all chopped as if I had been in a snow storm!

Buch, congratulations on surviving the birthday party! I feel all sad for this bullish woman/ child... is she really developed? Her hormones and emotions must be all over the place. The sister of a good friend of mine developed when she was 9 and was bullied for having a bust . It must be very hard.

Lol at all those feisty minime ! Dd was extremely active at their age... it was a bit exhausting (also because I'm a bit apprehensive)

I cooked a cake today to bring to ds's friend home (we met with other mums for a chat while the kids played) and it was like concrete

Sputnik · 14/10/2009 20:44

Lol at Mondragone! Having driven through there a few weeks ago you would sooo not want to be there. One thing made me laugh though, someone (I think the father of the bride) had taken out a full size mega billboard ad for someone's wedding, saying they would be sempre vicino bla bla. I imagine if that bridegroom makes one wrong move it'll be concrete overcoat time.

Sputnik · 14/10/2009 20:44

Just back from Ikea again, why do we keep doing this?
