Your most irritating Cbeebies programme

Love Cbeebies (not too often though, thank you), but some of their shows drive me mad. My most detested one of all times is 'Badger and Bodger', followed closely by 'Brum'. Come to think of it, there are quite a few more than annoy me but I'll stop here. Which ones do you hate?

The tweenies and thankfully so do my sons. They are annoying irritating whiny children!

Nutjob · 21/05/2003 16:44

Zingalong - aarrgghhhh!!!

allatsea · 21/05/2003 16:45

I'm with you Nutjob - unfortunately dd loves it, so every now and then we end up watching the rather insincere Zoe ignore the suggestions of the children and do her own thing!

Meid · 21/05/2003 16:48

Another for Zingalong - those "songs" at the end are just the pits.

Carmel · 21/05/2003 16:49

....by the way i meant the tweenies not my sons!

whymummy · 21/05/2003 16:52

tweenies, theyre soooooo annoying, hyper specially bella and jake,i cant stand their voices

Frenchgirl · 21/05/2003 16:56

Absolutely agree about Zingalong!!! A bit worried however because when dh saw it, he thought Zoe was rather nice... I was quite shocked once in the supermarket (not tescos...) to hear a mum sing the Zingalong theme to her son. It wasn't any of you then

Zingalong, Teletubbies Everywhere, all of the CBeebies 'presenters', Little Bear Stories. DD prefers the programmes shown on Nick Jr., especially Dora the Explorer and Little Bill.

Carmel · 21/05/2003 16:59

Never mind the kids i love little bill

whymummy · 21/05/2003 17:02

oh i can`t stand that woman with the tartan dress telling stories on teletubbies
naughty,naughty,naughty AAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

ghengis · 21/05/2003 17:06

Funny Lady? Funny peculiar Lady!

Bobsmum · 21/05/2003 17:07

Zingalong is definitely toe curlingly cringey but why-are-your eyes-not-smiling-freaky-Zoe really makes ds smile - oh dear. However I do force ds to watch the current overflow of ScottishCbeebie nonsense to ensure he grows up pure and untouched by moy saaarf east neighbours.
Anyone got any Singing Kettle videos?

Carmel · 21/05/2003 17:12

Boys Daddy Scot and he keeps talking about the singing kettle, thought he was talking nonsense

Girly · 21/05/2003 17:48

Edgarcat - I am Tigs in our house, I am also Teddy (from Andy Pandy), Tinky Winky, and Kelly from Hi 5 (on Channel 5 but that's a whole other story!!!)

LIZS · 21/05/2003 18:49

Tikkabilla - aren't they just soooo patronising, the programme is overlong and unfocussed. Also those awful links and songs.

Oakmaiden · 21/05/2003 19:08

Ghengis - funny peculiar lady? More like SCAREY lady!

Frenchgirl · 21/05/2003 19:12

Nutjob - I'm Stinky Winky... (no typo), and I confess to loving the Shiny Show, especially the bits where Macca gets excited and they sing 'Calm down'(how sad is that, I have a favourite bit of a kids show)

Oh Bobsmum, I have Singing Kettle videos coming out of my ears... They've gone off the boil a bit though, IMHO. Now The Happy Gang on the other hand, I really like!
