Come on Mum2toby, the reason people single you out is because they can pretty much guarantee what your reaction will be. Ignore them and I am sure they will leave you alone and pick on someone else.
Don't take it so personally, nothing wrong with having fun.

breeze · 15/05/2003 13:20

Where are we on that LARGE ONE

Girly · 15/05/2003 13:27

Hey Bobsmum you have just reminded me of the time whilst at Uni i used to drink Snakebite! and i could down a whole pint in one go, without dribbling, which was a BIG hit with the uni Rugby team. Aaahh the good ol days

Mum2Toby · 15/05/2003 13:27

Breeze - Isn't it shocking though that people would post just to upset me and entice a reaction from me!??"?

Another HUUUUUUUUGE glass of wine here please....

...I'll shut up about it now.

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 13:30

If this was a real student union it'd be subsidised grog and loads of intelligent conversation probably about star trek and modulating phasers and other black t-shirt wearing subjects. far as I can tell this is way classier - working mens club at least. Anyone seen my whippet?

Girly · 15/05/2003 13:32

A pint of snakebite used to cost £1 when I was at Uni. We used to have beach party theme nights at out SU bar, in November, bbrrr

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 13:34

Apparently snakebite and diesel are now banned insome pubs cos it's just too powerful for engineering students

Girly · 15/05/2003 13:35

I could manage 5 pints, 6 and I would chuck!

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 13:42

am speechless girly!! but also lightweight perhaps?

meanmum · 15/05/2003 13:44

Can't wait to go drinking with you Girly. I never used to be able to count how many I could drink (in my peak years) but am happy to say could spend the equivalent of £140 in one evening on alcohol so suppose that means a lot.

Girly · 15/05/2003 13:44

OMG could never do that now! I was 18 at the time and it came with practice

Girly · 15/05/2003 13:45

I would never spend more than a fiver!

breeze · 15/05/2003 13:47

You want to talk about a light-weight, in asda I buy a bottle of their blue goo £3.50 for 1.5 lires and I can get easily pissed on £1.75 worth. Cheap night out for me. Must definately make the next booze up.

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 13:49

dh makes his own cider if i can offer anyone some mooshine? - v v v v v vv v v v powerful!!!!

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 13:50

that's moonshine - told y'all it were powerful

meanmum · 15/05/2003 13:53

I'll try the moonshine. I've never had any before and am dying to rip my insides out by some home made stuff.

Remember I don't drink pints just spirits and they always cost loads more.

Breeze - you're needed at the next drinking session definitely. As is everyone else but we didn't have many takers before.

doormat · 15/05/2003 13:53

girly- I used to drink snakebites too!!!!miss them
it is amazing what sacrifices you make when having a family boo hoo

breeze · 15/05/2003 13:56

Meanmum, Needed eh? as long as you don't mind carrying me from the first pub and then around for the night, or else I could just have coke.

meanmum · 15/05/2003 13:58

Definitely needed and I'm way out of practice so we'll have to carry each other. I can see us all now arm in arm supporting each other down the road singing "Hey Jude" and waking up the neighbours.

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 14:01

Meanmum - we used to serve it in pints but dh and I got rather irresponsible - fortunately the curtains were closed. Can I offer it to you in a rather lovely Edinburgh crystal champagne flute instead and we'll call it chateau bobsmum (aged in B&Q plastic casks)?

mears · 15/05/2003 14:03

Thought I'd just nip in for a quick one - am thirsty after all my cleaning this morning

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 14:03

And can someone pleeeeeeze answer my bf thread - I'm still gagging for a pack of KP nuts (the ones that have the lovely laydeeeee in the green swimming cossie on the packaging underneath)???

meanmum · 15/05/2003 14:04

Ooh, what a lovely palate it has and the colour is just to die for. Serving it in the Crystal just puts it in a whole new league doesn't it. Mind you, don't think I'll be getting irresponsible with you young lady. I'm a happily married woman with a husband who does most of the work at home so can't afford to trade him in.

breeze · 15/05/2003 14:06

Meanmum your on, and who will be joining us?

Bobsmum · 15/05/2003 14:07

Sorry about the sediment tho meanmum - just don't tip the glass too far and it should stay at the bottom.
