No one said anything. Probably they were unsupervised. DD obviously didn-t want to talk about it, we had asked her several times already as it-s a really nasty bruise.
She wouldn-t say who it was but there is a really nasty little boy in her class, it was probably him.

Sputnik, definitely take it up with the teacher and show her the bruise. DD got pushed over and her head banged on the desk by a boy in her class when the teacher was out of the room and we mentioned it so an eye was kept out whenever said boy got too near. No more incidents since.

DD shocked the babysitter today - when they were washing their hands together the babysitter reached for the wrong towel. DD immediately told her in the most strident of tones "no, quello è l'asciugamano del pisello di papà!" I think said towel was dropped pretty quickly.

my mum told dd1 that her bottom is "cul' (pronoucned a la milanese) because it amused her... now, my mum is a lovely signora pariolina and i can't imagine why she thought it would be funny... anyway, it's embarrassing and rude and i need a better word.. we are using patatina but unsatisfactory in my mind because potatoes are, well, convex...
