Just wondering what you think of this artist's work

(it's not controversial modern art done with blood or poo, I just kind of like the bloke's style)

I found a lot of these very modern and not to my taste.....I'm very old fashioned and really like Jack Vettriano

My fav is the one in the white dress, with a muted sun above....I have 2 copies

I have just returned from an art exhibition at Farnham which was depressingly good (in demoralising sort of way) so thought I'd get in on this.
Love Beetroot's pics. Into Dali & Mucha at the mo myself.

I know sod all about art so the only artists I've really seen are the old classics. Recently saw an article about Caravaggio, amazing I thought.

I have a small painting by Peter Brook which is unlike the rest of the art in my house.
It's a Yorkshire thing.

Twiglett · 23/03/2005 08:48

Beety .. am very jealous that you own one of those Niall Rae pieces ... and the one you have is just gorgeous .. but 2.5K may as well be 2.5million to me at the mo

OK confession time .. we've got one of the Tito pieces (the artist in my very first post) .. I like pointy boobs .. we bought it when we were in Havana years back

Twig - I thought the pointy boobs looked like an exceptional piece!

Just e-mailed the Australian Gallery about another Carmichael (see my post just before)! Love her naïve work. Hope you got party pics I sent. Just out with dw to get hair chopped.

Twiglett · 23/03/2005 08:57

mwah mwah

thanks for photos .. they looked much nicer on the small (less pixels) screen on the back of your camera .. you know before you could actually see my face

do love your link btw
