Morning everyone
Just received a copy of DS1's Disney commercials he did, is really funny seeing him on tv and having words to say too! lol

DS1 has a tv casting on Wednesday, anyone else got anything coming up? We have officially had a whole week off from a casting now and I have really enjoyed it!!

Nope,still mantain that KL are very slow payers(unless your a favourite maybe)
taking 8months to pay is not normal,or not paying when kids with other agents have all been paid for the job already.But they are a brilliant agency for high quality work and if your child has the look of the moment they will keep you extremly busy

hi all - just thought i would post to say hi
just got home from holiday and cant believe the cold weather here, am at my desk wrapped up in a quilt!
dd had a job the day before we went to the airport - was a family easter egg shoot - she had a lovely time. nice that she has had something as the jobs have been for my ds this year.she was very happy eating easter eggs on the train home!
messages on my phone whilst away were for burberry and halifax castings - obv forgot we were on holiday. At least it seems to have picked up again.

Christal- well done for your dd. in your dds leaflet does it have any stills from the current tv commercials on it?

good luck to all waiting to hear on jobs etc. and good luck this week.

not spoke to them yet - hope not as really tired, plus ds has ear infection since we returned and not a happy chappy so want to keep this week clear if possible! will drop u an email later on to catch up

that must be so disappointing marymay.

lyndall my ds went through the casting - then shortlist etc with Boden, but hasn't come to anything yet on the up side though it means that they appealed to the people casting so stand a good chance another time - I have been told that it depends on the mix of kids available.

Yay got email yesterday evening about consultation with UA. But before I ring to book could someone please tell me where exactly it is???? I know it seems a bit silly to ask when I will know once I call UA but just need to get info in my head first! (Weird I know but go with it :0 )

It is alot harder in the tv world isn't it MaryMary? My DS1 has been shortlisted for quite a few so obviously has something but then it comes down to who fits with who when it's a family shoot etc, but this is the area my DS1 especially wants to be in and he understand's completely that he may attend alot before his chance comes up again!

hi melody.. i think with tv/film stuff you are often up against children from acting agents/schools too.. i know when ds has attending these castings you can really see the difference between those children who do mainly modelling and those who have the experience and some training in acting.. if your ds is very keen has he started some classes? good luck for casting today !

Hi MelodyDaisy..I was a little disappointed the 3 children had spent the whole day filming for the bbc and they didnt use any of them.
But ds couldnt have cared less .He is a bit shallow as longs as he gets paid .
Now if that was dd it would have been a whole different story.
I keep meaning to say your children are lovely i seen them on the msn group im mumtwotwo on there.your oldest has a very similar look to what my ds had at that age.
He is a bit of a long haired hippy now.

Brooke77, my dc do attend a theatre school and DS1 has shown great promise in it, hence we have joined AK for the more tv work rather than photographic side of it.

I lovet he long haired hippy look, thanks for the nice comments, wish I could see pics of yours!!

Mummyshoneys, I assume we are talking about the same Boden casting - the one in September? If so, our DC did well to be shortlisted apparently as I was told not many were optioned.

Nope, still just your daughter!! Are you sure you scrolled box to make it public and then saved? It would come up on your screen as you are logged in and it's your pics so you can automatically see it all

Does anyone else find these threads completely addictive? Its like a really good book that you just can't put down!!
Any by the way has anyone read back through the threads from a couple of years ago OMG it was sooo bitchy - I would've ran a mile if we got into this a couple of years back!
