September's thread was very long so thought best to start a new thread as Brooke77 suggested too!

Am off to London again tomorrow for DS1 has a tv show casting, anyone have anything coming up?

Any of you had contract's through from UAN yet?

Got my email access to DS1 profile page now need to print off all the paperwork!

Oh wow! If I go for the modelling thing I will go with them. I'm only worried how much school he'll miss.

i keep being told ds should be go for child ling but i am not so sure!! could you just take a peek ant my profile and tell me honestly, i think he is gorgeous but i am biast!!! have nearly done it b4 but chickened out!!

Also NCA (Norrie Carr Agency) and SW (Scallywags) They'd be amongst the best as well

just a tip sometimes if i am going to drs for an appointment with one of the kids i get out a drs letter and they just sign it sometimes with no charge - this is not all the time, other times i have paid £25 sometimes £10 for a drs letter yet if you can get the odd free one may be worth a try. i have normally pre filled all the info out so all it needs is a signature

we not had any castings for ages now - totally different to earlier on in the year.

hfd - would that have been a straight short film without a casting for your lo? i forget how old your little one is? hopefully you will have all the docs ready for next time, good luck something else will come along

HI Quad,hows you? All your kids still modelling?
DD had her disney shoot,she had a great time,all the models looked really similar,was like lots of clones wandering the studio,and she had face ache from smiling so much.She should be in print(we hope) from November in Disney Girl and Disney W.I.T.C.H magazines.
Been really quiet for my other 2,baby not had even a casting since May.

Julie - took the done letter into the surgery just for her to sign but the receptionist phoned and said I had to make an app. no choice. But will complain! DS 9 months.

Credit crunch got be hitting the advertising budgets. Also the Icelandic banks. I know someone who works in a 100 million pound media marketing company (don't think uses kids!) owned by Icelandic and everything has been frozen whole company could go. So in the scheme of things I think our dreams may need curtailing. Apparently Thorntons are doing well as people console themselves so you never know. God, I'd be so up for that! Me not for him!

Hi all. DS2 had his casting today, he went in on his own with them which he was fine about, he enjoyed it anyway
Were quite a few boy's there from NC, MOT, YU and AK, not sure if there were any other agencies there. I now have to go and do it all again in an hour or so!! lol

Hellfireanddamnantion you may find that each gp surgery has a different policy but often they want physically see that the child is in good health before signing a letter stating it hence the need for an appt.

Totally i'm okay thanks, girls are still modelling boys are now more interested in footie!! Have recently done a Tecso shoot for a magazine and a Barcelona FC shoot, was supposed to be at a M and S casting this pm but it's one of the twins best mates parties so no can do!! The Disney shoots sound lovely which agency did you get those through? What else you been up to? Is all good with you? x

hmm well i guess i kind of see it that gp's have more important things to worry about than signing letters so our children can model, so don't tend to kick up a fuss if it takes a while to get sorted.
Didn't have to go to Barcelona unfortunately....that would have been nice, did get offered a job in madrd once but sadly we couldn't make it.
