Am off to London again tomorrow for DS1 has a tv show casting, anyone have anything coming up?

Any of you had contract's through from UAN yet?

ichef:to make things even worse,my Auntie took my little cousin to the Drs this am and it turn out that my cousin has chicken pox!!!!!!DS has gone nuts afer I tried to explain him that he can't play with her for the whole time will be here on holiday
Glad to hear youDD has a straight job and that ds has another casting on Monday.Looks like he's keeping you busy, but I can understand why clients want him:he's totally gorgeous!!!!

Re- UAN Has everyone sent there contracts back, keep putting if off as not told DD's agency that she is leaving yet. Will do it this week. Keep thinking if leave until last minute she might get another job with current agency before UAN launches in Nov.

Christabel, I sent my UAN contract back a few days after receiving it.
Which Agency is your DD currently with? My boys have just been offered contracts with UAN so I'm just waiting for their contracts, Sarah's posting them out today.

i'm new - i have just had my 2 dd's accepted into models direct - should i go ahead? i think its £128 each - they said they would knock that down to £100 each

what are your thoughts

sealpup they are scammeisters, read over this thread for reputable agencies to apply too.

Do not touch them with a barge pole. There are so many internet forums with warnings about them. If you google them, you'll even find warnings on the 1st google page.
If you go on the ALBA website, you'll find one agency recommended for Glasgow, can't remember it's name. You can also try Bizzykids because I think they recruit from all over the UK.

Sealpup - don't touch Model Direct with a barge pole. They accept everyone and anyone and hound you by phone, letters and emails offering you various incentives to join their fantastic agency (not)...they make it all sound wonderful but unfortunately they are SCAMMERS....been reported on Watchdog in the past and also listed on the 'Named and Shamed' on the Alba website.

I don't know of any Agencies in Scotland (I'm from Wales) however it might be worth trying BK as they accept models from all over the UK. HTH's xx

Jolly good - saved another from MD! Glad it keeps coming up from time to time so new people can see it - hopefully lots of people who don't post see it too. MD was the first one I applied to before googling forums - God what a nightmare! You can't phone or email even phoning they make money! i do think we should all send pictures of monkeys and squirrels and see if they accept them.

Urban Angels North. Don't know if they cover Scotland but they are opening their books - everyone raves about UA so you could try them?

Melody ds2 had a casting yesterday at Holdborn wasn't very nice as it was packed with babies from newborns to infants so not sure exactly what they're looking for.

Holborn is the last place I would wish to go back to! lol Not only was it rammed, but no-one was there to take names etc, was just a piece of paper on the floor, no-one called us in and people were just pushing in, was ridiculous!

No not spoke to them, I did email off some better pics which Kimberley acknowledged but that was about it. When you could see the other kids, do they have many babies on their books?

Back at work in Feb so a little time yet, but not sure how I will manage it when I do go back, might have to try and sneak out!

Thats quite a few, is that boys and girls? Where they mixed ages? Never got the chance to have a nose! I work in the travel industry in the recruitment dept.

UAN - has anyone got there pictures yet? Can't wait to see which pictures of DS they chose

Wondering if people can explain the license process to me ( haha, getting a bit ahead here LOL ) our LA don't offer open licenses so we have part 2 of the license and to keep doctors letter, passport pictures etc here. If he was to get a job do we have to go to our LA or post it?

More than anything curious as to how it works but fingers crossed there may be a time it comes in useful
