Your DD is doing better than me with the serviette folding Apricot. I’ve watched videos in the past of “simple” folding techniques. Nope. Mind you, I’m quite glad to have never sat in a vat of gravy 😁

I’m rather tired and should have an early night later. Probably won’t make any difference because I’ll still wake up at least twice in the night and be awake before 6.

Evening all. I get impressed if I put serviettes out for special occasions. Folding doesn't come into it - other than folded in half.

Not much happening here. Kittens are sleeping on/around me, I've been up hoovering for Dad, the house needs tidying as ever, but hey ho!

Morning all. I left the washing on the line overnight since there's no rain forecast. We have a mix of sunshine and cloud again.

Half day today (hurrah) on account of Fancy coming to visit (hurrah again!) I'd best get on with work in the meantime! Have a good day all.

Afternoon. Nice sunny day, lots of washing done. I'm the same LetUs. I had a terrible night, awake from 2 o'clock until 4. No idea why, just wide awake. Then when I went back to sleep I had a nightmare and DH woke me as I was shouting, well, trying to.

Eeek at Slinky and the Spider. Another book title.

I’ve somehow committed to several new knitting and crochet projects so I’ve been making a start on those.

Sun is shining, the washing machine is washing, and the flapjacks are in the oven. Rain due later though.

Errands to run this morning and then housework stuff at home.

Morning all. It's warm and sunny outside. We may or may not have some drizzle later. We will probably get cloud. Next door are currently away for holidays, so I've added their livestock to the morning chores (and evening).

Much blethering was done last night I think we have vague plans for a walk later - there is car boot sale in the village so that might be fun for a rummage. If I'd been organised I could have emptied some of our loft, but that only occurred to me this morning.

Kittens are currently wrestling and chasing each other around the house. The chickens are shouting so I could probably go and check for eggs. Little bantam was last seen hogging the nest box and blocking the hens from laying there <sigh> (Though they have been known to literally sit on top of her.)

Afternoon. Lovely morning so I did the usual jobs and thought I’d go outside after lunch, but it clouded over and went rather windy.

Not too shattered Helen although last night wasn’t a lot better. Hope the car boot sale was good, if you went.

We have rain! Well, the ground’s a bit wet but it’s a start. It’s been really windy here too Apricot. Good for the washing though.

Hope you’ve had a smashing day Helen and Fancy with successful carbooting.

One extra project is done. Currently projects are my cardigan, a blanket (which I think I’ll keep for myself), and a scarf. Also going to start some doll clothes, and some things for premature and other tiny babies. At least those things shouldn’t take too long!

Morning all. Yesterday's car booting involved DH rummaging about on tables and Fancy and I standing around looking bemused at 'tat' With added disagreement with DH that we didn't need more glasses, and no, I haven't broken any of our current ones. Never mind. I was rather hotter than expected and we went for a walk via various drinking bowls for dogs (having taken Dad's dogs out with us).

The evening involved a very entertaining outdoor theatre trip with the tiniest bit of rain, and trying to park the car in what was essentially a gravel trap . Fortunately getting out of it was easier than getting in.

Currently plonked on the sofa debating a beach trip. There is potential rain forecast, but I'm not convinced we'll get any.

Usual Sunday. Rained this morning, stopped raining for the afternoon but was flipping windy again, and then about 30 minutes ago the skies went dark and it tipped it down. It seems calmer now though.

Tonight's fun was a meet-up with FancyFriends who were randomly on holiday here, and then a beach trip.

We have had no rain <massive CBF> and it's been warm-to-hot, and windy.

Slinky is currently giving me acupuncture. Ow ow ow ow!

It has been a very lovely weekend though (apart from acupuncture).
