WOW. Well, that was exciting - wasn't expecting it to be, 'cos after all, it's "only Corrie". But it really had me on the edge of my seat, even though I knew what was going to happen. Am I really sad, or did anyone else feel the same?

I thought it was really good, I even had butterflies in my stomcah even thought I knew what was going to happen. I hope it isn't Bethany who dies, 'cos I know I'll end up in floods of tears. Hate anything like that!!

I felt sick sick sick at the sight of them under the water !!! Admittedly I do have a thing about going underwater - but Oh My God - imagine that !!!

Yes, it's funny isn't it. I have more horror of the underwater stuff than the carbon monoxide poisoning.

Doesn't anybody KNOW what's going to happen??? Surely it's been in the Sun or one of the other papers that always prints the plots before they happen??? Not even a hint??? AM traumatised!

One of the newspapers has shown 2 adult sized coffins! One is obviously for Richard because we have already seen him in his body bag on various spoiler sites but I don't know who the other is - could it be one of the rescuers maybe? I'm sure we would have heard if Gail, Sarah or David was leaving the show.

I have also heard that Bethany never wakes up from her overdose of whatever Richard gave her. She apparently spends about a month in a coma and then dies later. I feel sick at the thought of that though and I really hope it isn't going to happen, I don't think I'll be able to watch if it is true. I was beside myself when Sarah was pleading with Richard not to hurt Bethany on Monday night, I just couldn't bare it if she died (something to do with being a mummy I think).

By the way - where did the door into the garage come from, did Richard build it when he came back for his wash and brush up? They've never had one before.

All I know is that 4 different ending were filmed, so the picture may not be of the one that they use. Don't suppose there is any chance that the 2nd adult coffin could be Tracey's. If 2 actually die there is no way that they would have a funeral together, no one would allow it.

Also, Shelley's sister dies and the day of the funeral is the day Lucy and Peter are getting married.

If that is true (i hope not) then it really is awful about baby Bethany.

I don't know about the coffins. I just heard that journalists were invited to see 2 coffins - it could just be the tv company teasing though.

Just saw a clip of tonights Corrie on TVAM and it was horrible. You saw them all struggling under the water, and Sarah desperately trying to undo the clip on Bethany's car-seat. It bought a lump to my throat and it was only on for a few seconds!! Can't wait for tonight though!!!

I'm so glad Bethany came out of the water with her eyes open, I could have cried. I just hope they don't have a relapse planned for her.

I too were relieved that Bethany came out with her eyes open. I have prepared myself for the worst.

Did anyone watch the Richard Hillman revealed straight afterwards on ITV2. I thought that was good and showed you all about him and the characters he killed. It was were seeing Helen Worth laughing and joking, totally unlike her screen character.

YOu would never have been able to see thing in that canal though. Plus, what about the hero neighbour - delayed damage/effects? Sounds like it's building up for him. And Martin, as a nurse, nay, THE nurse, would surerly have insisted he go to hospital. IS the Rovers going to get burgled?

Anyone else think Kevin can't swim? I suppose we ought to have guessed it wouldn't be too harrowing as it wasn't on later. Phew!

I think you're right, Tinker, I thought the neigbour was a goner when he jumped in, and then it showed his wife saying "he'll be fine". Always dangerous words when uttered on a soap. Delayed effects v likely, I would have thought.

Helen Worth couldn't swim, she had to take lessons. It must have been very frightening for her.

I don't think they'll have Tommy suffering from canal water poisoning - they've got plans for his daughter, apparently, so he might get away with it. I saw an hilarious photo from next weeks' episodes of the daughter in the hospital bed being counselled by - yes, you guessed it - Nurse Platt. I won't reveal what she's suffering from in case I spoil it for anyone, but I don't spose it makes much difference. Martin works in every ward on every shift anyway, so it may as well be berryberry she's suffering from.

Come on moomin, do tell us what she is suffering from. I guess Pregancy or an eating disorder. I think anyone who doesn't want the story ruined would avoid a thread like this.

I've heard that Tommy's daughter is actually suffering from diabetes and she gets snatched by the gang who are after the family. Tommy snatches her back but gets shot in the process. Don't know any details, it is just something that I read on another site. I wonder if it will come about with all the publicity for Tommy the Hero?

I bet any money that the "head of the gang" dies or something so the Nelsons can live in peace afterall.
