Pamina, I agree with you. I wanted to smack the smirk every time I saw it. The palm of my hand itched
And why did she cancel the cleaner?? Madness! I hope that the poor cleaner got paid by C4!

Last night was the first one of these I managed to remember to watch. I would have thought though that they should also swap jobs i.e. the first week, they should be out of the house the same amount of time as the other Mum. Last week did the Mother of One still work her 12 hour day and then go back to looking after 6 children and the Mother of 6 stay at home all day and look after one child?

Bozza · 29/01/2003 11:52

They did seem to swap jobs as well last week Jaybee. So MO6 was out 12 hours and MO1 was at home IYSWIM.

Just hear Barry ( CAROL! CAROL! CAROL!) moaning on the radio about how his wife Michelle has changed. It seems she is nolonger willing to be tied to the kitchen sink and he is very upset she no longer jumps to attention and does everything he demands!! Good for her!!

PamT · 30/01/2003 09:03

So has she not left him then? I thought she had - or did he tell her he loved her again and she just melted - again?

eidsvold · 04/02/2003 18:21

Well PamT you were right - Michelle left Barry according to this weeks Closer magazine becuase she realised there was more to life than being stuck inthe kitchn - if i remember rightly ( form the article). Good for her - hope she stays strong and finds a decent man!

I read yesterday that a 'holiday wife swap' series is being planned where the swappees will go on holiday together. The producers are hoping for some bedroom action in this series. I'm not too happy about this, encouraging adultery might make good viewing but anyone who volounteers must be out of their mind. I wonder if they will do a fly on the wall divorce series afterwards?

I didn't like Lance either but it said at the end of their programme that they had got engaged because the separation made them realise how much they wanted to be together.

OK, I missed it - DD1 rang from uni halfway through to say watch it, it's brilliant, but that's no good (ie halfway through!) - is it repeated this week, anybody?

Suddenly I think my life is pretty damn wonderful

zippy539 · 01/10/2003 06:56

Um .. is it just me, or did the programme seem to suggest (without SAYING anything) that rich wife and poor husband got it together after their little drink in the candle lit garden?
