Morning wenches.

Oh Floof 😊 Hope he’s okay.

Mad Wicked, just mad dreams. I had to wrap a baby up in a blanket or towel covered in mixture of mushy oats and blueberries.

What’s that phrase Helen? Something about better a rainy day in the hills than a sunny day in the office. Anyway, hope the break continues to be super.

Quite dreary here. Suppose I’d better get going.

Have lovely days wenches.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 31/10/2024 10:36

Morning all.
<snort> at Floof-the-Goof.

That's a suitably bonkers dream Wicked - I had one recently where I was having my hair cut at my parents' kitchen table, and Pedro Pascal was there. I have no idea what was going on there either.

It is another better-than-being-at work rainy day in the hills.

ApricotCrush · 31/10/2024 16:58

Afternoon. Nice day, I put some washing out and it seems to have partially dried, just 10 minutes in the tumbler to finish it.

Oh poor Floof, hope he's alright.

Grin at mad dreams.

We're going to the caravan tomorrow to close it down for the season. Don't know how long we'll be there, but as we don't have school duties now we can come back when we feel like it. DD & Co. are joining us for the weekend.

Evening wenches.

Perhaps he was waiting to get his hair cut too Helen 😁

NiceColleague and I were discussing whether we’d get any washing out again this year (in amongst to what seemed like the entire office and several other businesses being in and out of our room all day). She’ll be impressed at your outside drying today Apricot. Hope the weather is nice for your final trip of the year.

LetUsPrey · 01/11/2024 07:38

Morning wenches.

November’s here and I already feel like I’ve a lot to do. That one day from October clearly made all the difference.

Not raining so that’s a good start to the day.

Safe travels Apricot.

Have lovely days wenches.

FancyFancy · 01/11/2024 14:04

Afternoon

Working from home today so have naturally hung a load out to dry. Not convinced it won't be better than it started when I get it back in later.

Safe journey apricot

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 01/11/2024 20:38

Evening all. We are back home after a lovely mini-meet. Am v. tired and absolutely clueless as to what day of the week it is!

Good luck with close-down Apricot - nice to have no pressure on having to be back for school duties!

LetUsPrey · 01/11/2024 21:02

Evening wenches.

Hurrah for being at the other end of Friday!

Figured something out all by myself on the new system at work which was a bit complicated - had to do the proper concentrating face and everything.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 01/11/2024 21:15

Last night's weird dream: I'm a distant relative to Aileen Wuornos and she's out of prison, and alive apparently, and we're having this big family gathering and I'm supposed to help her settling in to a normal life and I'm a bit nervous about that because I've never met her before and she's a killer. Then I'm doing the dishes and my dream ends there. I mean WTF? Confused

LetUsPrey · 02/11/2024 08:04

Morning wenches.

What on earth have you been eating before you go to bed Wicked? We always had this thing of no cheese before bedtime because it’ll give you nightmares. Have you been eating a lot of cheese?

Meeting BestFriend this morning and then have some errands. Usual stuff for the rest of the day.

Have lovely days wenches.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/11/2024 12:11

Not-quite-morning all. I have managed a mega-lie-in (punctuated by feeding livestock, and cats jumping on and off the bed - with volume on. But still. Lie-in, with sleep involved. Now I have two hours before I have to go and be a taxi. I suspect not much will get done since I've got a big bowl of porridge to get through.

that was a truly whacky dream Wicked - I've just had one where DH was telling me to get up and tidy the house because apparently we have loads of boxes in storage which are being delivered today Shock Not that the house doesn't need tidying, so my sub-conscious has obviously decided to try and nudge me into action...

Have a good day all. My porridge is now 'just right', so I'll stuff my face with that.

WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 02/11/2024 14:03

Mmm, cheese 😋

I'm not going to tell you about last night's dream, you might have me committed Grin I have started a new medication for my condition so that might have something to do about it.

Have a great Saturday everyone 🍷

FancyFancy · 02/11/2024 14:14

Afternoon, off to a local art fair with a neighbour this afternoon, followed by tea & biscuits Smile
Yikes to that dream ww!

No cheese related dreaming issues here - but then I'm the daughter of a woman who loved some mature cheddar for supper Grin

ApricotCrush · 02/11/2024 15:42

Afternoon. The drive here yesterday was uneventful. It’s bit gloomy, but we managed to get out this morning and do a bit of shopping. Well, DD did while I just tagged along. The menfolk have now gone for a walk down to the beach but it seems to be getting dark already. We’re going out for a meal at a local pub later, so no cooking is required. Smile

Have a good evening all.

Evening wenches.

Yeah for lie-in Goldilocks Helen!

New medication sounds a safe bet for weird dreams Wicked.

Art fair and then tea and biscuits sounds so lovely!

Enjoy your meal out Apricot,

Usual Saturday with bonus visit to see DS1 and his girlfriend. Quite tired now.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/11/2024 19:00

Evenig all. I used to have cheese on toast for supper, just before bed, and I've never noticed it making a difference either way.

In other news, I have lots of squggly lines across my vision and can't see very much of what I'm typing. Which is a pain in the arse (though not in the head, yet). Think of me kindly wenches...

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 02/11/2024 22:49

(migraine drugs killed any headache - or it was never going to be a headache anyway - just the visual thing.)

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/11/2024 07:43

Morning wenches. It's grey and dull and we have a SportingCompetition to get to.
<flails>
Have a good day all!

LetUsPrey · 03/11/2024 08:08

Morning wenches.

Good that the migraine didn’t develop. Good luck to you/MrHelen/MiniHelen.

Usual Sunday except I am postponing the ironing to tomorrow as I’ve a couple of days off. Gives everything enough time to dry so it’s not hanging around to next Sunday. LovelyMIL coming round for lunch.

Have great days wenches.

ApricotCrush · 03/11/2024 16:47

Afternoon. Grey and dull here too. We went for a walk along the beach and round the estuary this morning, then had a Sunday lunch at a local bistro, followed by an ice-cream, sitting on the sea wall. DD & Co have now gone home and I’m tired, but it’s been a lovely weekend, except that Misty disapproved of the new sleeping arrangements as she couldn’t get into one of the rooms at night because DGS was scared of her jumping onto him, and she let us all know about it. Grin

I get those vision disturbances Helen but I have to stop what I’m doing and wait for it to pass otherwise I lose my speech. I can’t put my thoughts into words and what comes out is complete rubbish so no change there. Hmm The first time it happened I thought I was having a stroke. Shock

Hope everyone’s had a good day.

OP posts:
WickedWenchOfTheNorth · 03/11/2024 17:16

I get that sometimes to Helen, usually when I'm stressed. Got really worried the first time but googled it and found out it's called eye migraine. Never heard of it before.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 03/11/2024 20:00

I used to get them lots, but I haven't had one for years. ('eek!' at yours Apricot - I'm fine, just have blank spots in my vision.)

Anyway, SportingStuff has been done, and the manshapes came home with medals - hurrah! Back to college tomorrow for DS, which means I'm back to the taxi-run. Urgh. Early night for me.

Hope everywench has had a good weekend.

LetUsPrey · 03/11/2024 20:07

Evening wenches.

That sounds like one of those perfectly tiring days Apricot. The eye thing with the affected speech sounds scary though.

And Wicked too with the eye thing. My poor wenches.

Well done to MrHelen and MiniHelen!

LovelyMIL was here for lunch - when we finally got through the sodding traffic.

Had a bath whilst the football and F1 were on and now I’m doing some knitting. Wasn’t sure about the yarn I’d chosen at first but it’s working up very nicely.

SisterHelenoftheEternalCatchUp · 04/11/2024 07:26

Morning all. It's grey and gloomy and it's back to college taxi services for me again. Doooooooom. etc.

Have a good day all.

LetUsPrey · 04/11/2024 07:56

Morning wenches.

Also gloomy here but I have a couple of days off so hurrah!

Plan is ironing, tidying, into town for birthday things for DS2 and one of the family babies, then probably knitting.

Have lovely days wenches.
