Morning all. Cold and dark. There's either been a heavy dew, or a ground frost. I should really go out to check feed the chickens. Sunrise is shaping up to be quite pretty with lots of small fluffy clouds up high going pink.

IntelligentCat fell off the sofa last night, though I caught her before she hit the ground. There was much limping and wobbling about, but she seems fine this morning - phew. Currently curled up on my lap and purring. Lovely, but not helpful. (Chickens and then early morning exercise are calling, so I need to shift her off.)

Afternoon. Very gloomy start here too, but it brightened up later. I've been hacking at pruning the wisteria and getting up some leaves as it's bin day. I won't be able to move tomorrow.

Am still keeping busy ebaying & washing, what an exciting life! Would have got more done only I started to get a bit stressed as Floof went out this morning & didn't come back for hours - very unlike him as he missed his lunch Anyhow, he reappeared in the garden about an hour ago, had a small snack & then retreated under a bed - I think he must have got shut in somewhere, he's not traumatised but he's definitely a little spooked.

Glad IntelligentCat is ok today & fingers crossed apricot & letus recover from pruning/lack of sleep

Work = aaarrrrgghhhhh. At least I don’t have a problem with things not printing properly anymore, but only in as much as I now can’t print at all. I think I might have a bruise on my head from banging it against my desk.

Ah, printers - how is it that they seemed to be more straightforward about twenty years ago? Ours are very temperamental - especially the one near me. I usually print to the one at the other end of the office which is more reliable. Gives me some exercise too

I don't remember the last time I had to print something at work. I have a feeling that last time I tried it didn't recognise my ID and I couldn't print anyway.

Afternoon. Quite a nice day here, not cold. Strangely, I'm not stiff from the gardening I did yesterday. I can't be as unfit as I thought I was, so no winch needed.

It's parents' evening at DGS's school and as son-in-law is away DH has gone with DD. It's the same school he went to and he hasn't been there since he was 16 so he's quite excited to see it again.

Poor Floof, hope he's alright.

Evening. I slept through the sunset . Started a migraine at midday, hurled copiously mid-afternoon, fetched DS, and then went to bed. I have been very unproductive work-wise - FML, etc.

I hope MrA enjoys partents evening. It's very odd going back to your old school, you (I) just walk around going "This is all wrong!"

Nice morning so I did a wash load and pegged it out. Of course it rained so it’s all draped on the radiators now. I think I’ll give up on line drying for the year.

Yes he did enjoy it Fancy . DGS had a good report and then the Deputy Head gave DH a little tour. Some parts he remembered but as Helen said, much had changed and the school is a lot bigger now.

Evening all. I'm all fine now (other than the perennial whinge of 'tiiiiiiired'). Bit of a mad morning of running about then straight into work, and I just didn't get to my laptop. Bit tired again now #BrokenRecord.

Glad to hear that MrA had a nice tour and Mini-miniA and a good report. Sympathies on work plus and [sleep] to everyone else. I might just do bath'n'book'n'bed. I'm tempted by a v. unusual slug of rum, but I might wait for the manshapes to get safely home from SportingActivity since I've had enough transport trauma for one week - I needed to pick up DS while I was migraining yesterday, and no-one was available. Fortunately I felt better enough after throwing up to gingerly drive there and back. Sod's law if I take myself out of the equation for driving tonight, I'll be needed. Where are HBFs and their transport when you need them?!
