Evening wenches.

Noticeably warmer. Was in for most of the day and at no point did I think about putting the heating back on. Have done lots of knitting, and the appointment went well.

Those don’t sound like sensible changes.

Evening all. I am pooped. The usual morning chaos of getting out to BoringOfficeJob followed by more chaos when DH went to see the GP and was told to take himself (i.e. get me to come home and drive him) off to hospital to get checked over. Hospital have shoved him into a ward so they can send him off to scans and do IV drugs. <le sigh, le worry> Still, best place for him to be in the circumstances.

Tea has been a combination of leftovers and Pizza since I still didn't get to the supermarket. Tomorrow...

Afternoon all. The usual morning chaos was followed by extra chaos since the main road was shut for DS college and traffic was hideous.

DH has been diagnosed with an internal abscess, so is being rammed full of drugs and kept in hospital for a few days. I will mostly be being a blue-arsed fly until he's home.

Fucking awful traffic on the way home. Ended up breaking off the journey after an hour and a half and calling at my mum’s for a brew and a toilet break.

That sounds hideous LetUs - DS took an hour longer than usual to get into college this morning, but that was accidents, not some idiot's idea of planned roadworks. I think the weather's been ok, but I haven't really paid attention to be honest.

Afternoon. Bit miserable today but not cold. I've been sorting more stuff for eBay. It's amazing the rubbish you collect over the years.

The traffic situation sounds dreadful LetUs, hope it's been better today although it doesn't sound like it will be.

Evening. I have been, as predicted, been a blue-arsed fly today. DH remains the same (he won't properly improve until they drain the abscess and that's not happening until Monday). Latest update was a complaint about the lack of reaction from nurses when they're called for help. Ambling about with no sense of urgency apparently, so DH is sounding stressed and grumpy WobblyCat has been to the vet to try a different treatment to see if she can be de-wobbled further.

Weather has been cold and cloudy. It's not freezing, but it doesn't feel far off it.

Looks fairly chilly out there but not frosty. House stuff this morning, visit to NearbyVillage for prescription but also jigsaw that I ordered. Then into town for hopefully more yarn (out of stock at usual place), then home.

Evening. Damp and cloudy day, although I haven't been out so don't know if it's cold. DH is helping DS to build a shed at his house. They never stop.

Yay for more yarn LetUs. We don't have any shops near us any more and I don't really like ordering online as you can't see the colours properly. I'm currently using up some of my stash of yarn.

Evening all. I am tired.
We have done SportingActivity where DS discovered he needs more equipment, because his is breaking. I went into town and did shopping which was useful - ticked several things off the list which have needed doing for a while. DH has been visited (we managed to avoid the 'off my head on drugs' part of his day!) We are now home and the fire is lit, but it's cooooooooooooooold.

Hope that LetUs got her yarn and jigsaw (and prescription). Maybe MrA could come and visit here and do all those jobs which we just don't get round to

I need to think about tea... and maybe get some more layers on to try and warm up. And also bring in the chickens' food before the rats eat it overnight.

I think unless you already know what the yarn looks like, then I agree Apricot that ordering online isn’t a great option.

Morning all, just. It's very cloudy and grey outside, so I'm not entirely sure why I bothered handing out the washing. Getting tea in the slow cooker, and hospital visit are the next things to do.

Things feel a bit less all over the place here, 2 rooms completed, one nearly complete, so only one to go. Stuff is still all in the wrong place and new furniture/furnishings are needed in some rooms but the end is in sight.
