Gio, I went to zara home today ... I went with a friend... I was very good, I was very tempted by a quilt ... but didn't go for it at the end... but I succumbed to a few towels...

ooh zara home. I walked past it twice yesterday but stopped myself going in. I love their quilts. And throws. And cushions. Everything basically. Then I skulked round the Coin home department for a while. What a thrilling life I lead

I love the coin home dep as well, the Milan shop has been all modernised and revamped.
I should go and do some work before collecting the children but as usual mn is hypnotizing me.

Ahh Zara Home. And Coin, I really miss Coin. They used to have very good sales, I bought a lot od stuff from there.

I'm not commenting on the elections, am disgustata, particularly by the Lega winning so much. I just despair of people being so ignorant.

I'm trying to book a hotel for tomorrow night and it is very slow and painful. What a day!

Yes. If the dodgy cheap flight I booked for tomorrow actually exists. I changed it last week and they still haven't sent me email confirmation. Also hotel is not confirming. I wonder if the concept of confirmation is not fully understood in Bulgarian culture? Am stopping off in Budapest on the return leg, but only airport, alas.

Franca, you'll just have to accept that you are now an intellectual minority and that the north is ormai popolato di buzzuri e tonti. The south also voted a lot for Berlusca but we know they're mafia votes - there was this complotto between Dell'Utri and the Ndrangheta di fill in 50K blank slips, or at least that was what was reported in the Guardian, nothing in the Italian papers despite Corriere being mentioned.

The odd thing is - and I don't know if any of you have noticed - "no one" ever seems to vote Berlusconi. If you ask people they all say no, I didn't vote for him, yet he's in power. How did that happen? Are Berlusca voters so shamefaced they won't own up to having supported him? Mistero...

Can I join you at the B&B? Not sure that DP would appreciate it, he'd finally have to learn English [evil cackle].

Managed to book my hotel, got a lovely ex communist monolith with free gym, sauna and pool. Just a shame I'm not going to be there long enough to enjoy it.
