None of them!

peacelily · 18/03/2008 13:21

have 2 slim vases with dried lavender in each side of the mirror and 2 sort of translucent tealight holders with tealights in (never get lit though).

Used to have cushions in our old flat, what happened to them ??

No bedspread can't be arsed to add an extra dimension to bed making.

Janni · 18/03/2008 13:28

4 - but more by chance than design

Swedes · 18/03/2008 13:44

Shiny/furry/suedette throws and matching/contrasting cushions say Argos catalogue to me.

Iklboo · 18/03/2008 13:46

I'm just chuffed I've found a floor in our bedroom after a big tidy up

aquababe · 18/03/2008 13:52

I have a plant(does that count as flowers)
not allowed scented candles (DH asmatic and thinks they are evil)
closest to decorative cushions are my pillows (I greedily have two)
I have clothes thrown on my bed does that count

bozza · 18/03/2008 14:11

Dc's throws also double as an extra blanket. And sometimes DD just has it for her nap if she would be too warm with duvet and also sometimes when she first goes to bed.

MuffinMclay · 18/03/2008 14:18

I have non scented candles and a throw both colour co-ordinated with the room.

My ds and dd have throws but share a bathroom.

fairyfly · 18/03/2008 15:36

I really think it depends on what kind of flowers, candles , cushions etc you use. Yes it can look characterless but that is entirely down to your design skills. My bedroom is just really really relaxing because of these things and not like a show room in the slightest.

nappyaddict · 18/03/2008 15:38

i have cushion and a throw but neither are on the bed!

Twiglett · 18/03/2008 15:39

none

but I do have a modern sculpture of books, clothes, washing basket centred around the central structure of an exercise bike designed to reflect the general futility of modern living and imbuing the casual reflection of a 1950's suburban nightmare with overtones of honey and mimsy

MrsBadger · 18/03/2008 15:43

none of the above and the house is dressed for sale

do have a flowering orchid on my dressing table though

ComeOVeneer · 18/03/2008 16:10

Snap Fairyfly. And none of it is from Argos either (no offence to those of you who like argos, I simply don't).

cheesesarnie · 18/03/2008 16:21

i wish i had a nice bedroom.
its my birthday on thursday-maybe i'll ask dh to paint the room-thatll be a start and we already have some paint.just have to get rid of all the crap first

TheBlonde · 18/03/2008 16:24

none of them

ComeOVeneer · 18/03/2008 16:27

How can you stand mess in the bedroom? I love going into my room in the eveing to a peaceful tidy uncluttered haven, couldn't stand it if there where piles of clothes, junk, excercise equiptment(why on earth have excercise things in a room designed for rest!?!?!)

bobsyouruncle · 18/03/2008 16:29

all except vase of flowers

cheesesarnie · 18/03/2008 16:31

no excersise equipment here-just loads of outgrown clothes etc-no where else to put it and charity shop is closed at the moment.

ComeOVeneer · 18/03/2008 16:36

Cheesesarnie, no room in garage/loft/shed/car boot? I'd put them anywhere but in my bedroom. Mind you I am well know for being anally obsessive about tidiness.

cheesesarnie · 18/03/2008 16:47

please come here and be 'anally obsessive about tidiness' at my house please please please!!!!!
no garage
loft is very damp and unusable
shed same as loft
car boot-we have a morris 1000 that just fits the shopping.

i am thinking you are right though.im going to declutter-stand back!!![superhero face]

norkmaiden · 18/03/2008 16:52

3 and 4 (cushions for propping up to read).

It's generally a bit of a tip though unfortunately..
