Hope you all find me.

OP posts:
oggsfrog · 17/03/2008 17:57

Unless of course anybody else would like it?

oggsfrog · 18/03/2008 07:09

Congratulations Binkle!
That's great news. Now you'll get to work on real people rather than family members Well done you

oggsfrog · 18/03/2008 07:26

Ohhhh. Weigh in. Not good. Am up another 2lbs .
In mitigation though, due to the artic conditions I was wearing lead heavy slippers, two pairs of socks, pyjamas, long fleecy dressing gown with big hood and a fleece jacket.

Berrie · 18/03/2008 09:07

I'm up 4 though to be fair, my weigh in last week was not a real one, me having been emptied of everything in my body not fixed down!
Great Binkle! If I were you I'd send your ironing out now an turn your ironing room into an office...unless you've already got one of those in Binkle Towers

Zebedeedoodah · 18/03/2008 10:32

I have no idea what my weight is , but well done Oggs - I'm trying to picture you as a monk
And you're more than welcome to the movie. It cost £3.98 and I'll check the postage a bit later, can you email me your address? But... please don't expect great things. It is far from a decent movie. However, it does have its compensations, and no prizes for guessing who's the best thing in it

oggsfrog · 18/03/2008 10:46

Well done? For gaining weight or doing a monk impression?
Have emailed you

Zebedeedoodah · 18/03/2008 10:55

The monk of course

oggsfrog · 18/03/2008 11:02

Ah

Zebedeedoodah · 18/03/2008 11:27

Here's the moral dilemma for the day. Do I give CM & her kids Easter eggs/chocolate from DS or not? Ditto Nursery - should they get a big tin of sweets or something for them too? I need to decide on the CM today as DS won't see them again until after Easter. Ho hum. I guess I ought to....

Berrie · 18/03/2008 12:11

Will CM be giving anything to DC? If so then I'd get something though if I was the cm I'd prefer a bunch of daffs!
DC got about 10 eggs each last year and me and dh ate them. There was no way I was giving a 1 and 3 year old that much chocolate and we don't have the will power to have them hanging around for months.

Zebedeedoodah · 18/03/2008 12:25

Cream eggs? Would that make me look tight?

Zebedeedoodah · 18/03/2008 12:35

Oggs, it's in the post. Enjoy.

Berrie · 18/03/2008 13:28

yes

binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 17:56

did Lyra sell her house?

Berrie · 18/03/2008 17:56

Eh?

binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 17:58

I thought Lyra was selling her house wasnt she? Just wondered if there had been any developments whilst I was on holiday?

Berrie · 18/03/2008 18:14

Oh I see...I got confused as I'd sen a thread entitled, I sold My House. No she hasn't.

binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 19:26

she needs to get the bread baking, the coffee brewing and place the chamber pot in a more prominent place for maximum impact then

binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 19:29

this is my soon-to-be empire

nice isnt it

oggsfrog · 18/03/2008 20:26

Bloody hell Binkle . You must be over the moon . Very impressive. Very impressive indeed. 4 treatment rooms, a hydraulic stool and an indoor toilet. Coo.
Will we get discounts on intimate waxes? Will you be doing back, sack and cracks?
How many underlings staff will you have?
How exciting

LyraSilvertongue · 18/03/2008 22:08

Brilliant, Binkle. Congratulations! What will you call it? Binkle's?
No I haven't sold my house. We've had a steady trickle of viewings but no real interest yet. i think the pen on the walls and mountains of toys are putting people off. Also I haven't got the energy to keep the place pristine at all times so it's been messier and messier at each viewing. The one we want hasn't sold yet either, though.
I've got a very glam night out tomorrow. DP and I are going to some photographic exhibition which will be attended by Gordon Brown (again, yawn) and Naomi Campbell and probably some other slebs. Then possible dinner at top restaurant. I might need a new dress...

OP posts:
binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 22:17

No sack and crack shenanigans oggs

It's called Eternal so I guess I will keep it as that until the printed stationery runs out and then maybe reconsider although its a good a name as any I suppose.

As for your fancy night out, you must be bloody sick of the sight of Gord now Do you get to choose the restaurant? If so, where do you fancy going?

binkleandflip · 18/03/2008 22:19

Sorry, last bit was to Lyra.

Cant believe I have reached 36 and have only now achieved the dizzy heights of attaining my very own hydraulic stool...my mum's keeping it inside but she must be mighty proud of me deep down..

LyraSilvertongue · 18/03/2008 22:20

Depends where I can book at short notice. I fancy La Gavroche. Or Nobu.

LyraSilvertongue · 18/03/2008 22:20

Binkle, you've achieved the dizzy heights of your own business. That's a pretty great achievement.
