HELLO PHONO!!!!!

You are prob about to go now...

Poor DS1 has wandered off upstairs to get away from me.

I have a spiderboy too. Everything is a "ladder" according to him. He brings his trike over to the shelves and uses it to climb on to reach things saying "ladder ladder" as he does it. Very worrying.

morning all.

Egg - sorry your night was shite. At least you have Marmite today to cheer you up and help clear up rice krispies

Have spoken to dd1 about coming with us to Brighton in May. She first of all said that she would stay at my mums. Then when she realised that it would be her only opportunity to actually meet the double yolker egglets, she changed her mind pretty quick I told her that she will be expected to look after various toddlers while their mum has a break and she seems to think that this is a fair trade for being allowed to look at egg's babies

Haven't mentioned yet that I'm hiring her out for the summer holidays

Have a sore throat today. Hope I'm not getting what everyone else seems to have had this week.

Phono - will not be here dead on 1 as I will be dropping dd2 at nursery. Look out for me about ten past though...

fryalot · 14/03/2008 09:58

re: climbing.... ds - "I'm gonna climb up here"

me - "no, don't do that because it's dangerous"
ds - "I will climb up anyway"

Egg · 14/03/2008 10:02

I feel cheered already .

I was not really expecting her to do childcare, but it was lovely to see her last time.

Got to feed DS2. Tesco man due anytime between 9 and 11. No sign yet. He will of course arrive as soon as bottle goes in DS2s mouth.

Marmite has gone .

It was really lovely to see her and the gorgeous marmite DD. My three were very noisy and marmite had to help stop the tears a few times. She is very good at holding two babies (or one toddler and one baby).

AND she brought presents for all of us .

Was a lovely day and as the babies cried for most of it I think I would have gone mad without having her here!

So did you miss us?

Egg · 14/03/2008 17:09

PS, can I go to the arcade with the DDs?

Hello girls,

we are safely back from visiting Egg in record time (40mins), had a fabulous time which was just what I needed after a horrendous week. The dts are just gorgeous and ds1 is so grown up now.

I had numerous cups of tea, 2 crumpets and 2 choc-chip muffins under duress and have come home to find a huge piece of choc cake waiting in the fridge!

dd loved playing with ds1's toys especially the toy pushchair and dancing Iggle Piggle.

Looking forward to Brighton even more now and meeting everyone else .

marmitemad · 14/03/2008 17:19

also came home to find a survey thing through the door offering a free bag of thorntons chocs if I leave it outside tomorrow morning, do you think its a con?

Egg · 14/03/2008 17:21

Bloody hell . Home already. That's fab news as was really worried you might get stuck.

DS2 has managed a small poo. He is still crying.

DD asleep upstairs.

DS1 eating roast chicken and mash with broccoli whilst racing round in just his nappy and top.

Forgot to say, when the Tesco man arrived to deliver my shopping DS1 took off his trousers AND nappy and wandered round with his willy out . How I laughed .

Egg · 14/03/2008 17:22

I would definitely fill it in. Nothing to lose. Chocs to gain.

Although I guess chocs could be poisoned?

I would take the chance.

Talking of chocs... I opened mine and six are now gone . I also had 2 choc muffins earlier .

fryalot · 14/03/2008 19:34

glad you two had a good afternoon. marmite - it must have been good to relax away from family stuff for a while.

re: chocs... you may as well do the survey thing, even if it is a con, it hasn't cost you anything except a bit of time. And I suspect it's above board. If it is a con, we can always threaten to boycott Thorntons until they give you free chocs.

(note I said threaten to boycott )

Everyone in bed and I'm settling down to watch Coronation Street with the laptop on my knee.

(I kind of feel that I should be lonely, but it's so nice to be alone )

dd2 did a walk round the playground this afternoon for sports relief, and she bought a pair of socks. When we went to pick her up, the staff gave ds a pair of socks because...

they heart him

marmitemad · 14/03/2008 20:24

why are you on your own tonight?
I thought parents evening was yesterday?

fryalot · 14/03/2008 20:27

dp took ds to bed and fell asleep.

When I walk past our bedroom, I can feel hear dp snoring, and ds saying "daddy?" I just shut the door and kept on walking

dd2 in bed, asleep. dd1 was upstairs but she came down to watch Hollyoaks.

Dp got in last night at 9.30pm after leaving the house at 6.45am - ridiculously long day for him (bless)

Have you done your survey?

marmitemad · 14/03/2008 20:30

ah now I understand, wouldn't want you to feel lonely and unloved up there .

we have just got in from tescos (must try and do an online thingy one day) so dh is now getting dinner (jacket potato) ready and I am playing searching for important information on here

fryalot · 14/03/2008 20:36

aaah, important information

I am a master of garnering important information from here.

Dp never seems to realise that I don't actually ever find anything out!

fryalot · 14/03/2008 20:41

am off to join them in a mo.... got a bit of a headache and am really quite tired.

see you over the weekend probably, or if not, definitely Monday.

marmitemad · 14/03/2008 20:42

they're not that bright are they men!

Egg - just realised I never paid you the postage for the baby clothes or said thank you for all the food, do you have a paypal account?

marmitemad · 14/03/2008 20:42
