SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 19:44

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 19:47

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 19:49

I will make a cup a soup in a bit - that might make me feel a bit better.

Don't really feel like much tbh.

Maybe if I were to wake dp up and tell him I need thorntons cappuccino chocs he would pop to the supermarket to buy me some

p'raps not

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 19:51

I don't really feel like eating either with my tummy cramps but when I do eat I seem to feel a little better,

am throwing you up a choc, catch......

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 19:51
Shock
SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 19:52

did I get it?

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 19:55

well it hasn't come back

have moved the chocs onto pc desk now so they are seriously depleting, really ought to go and do something useful with the sewing machine.....

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 19:56

I haven't had my sewing machine out for ages.

funnily enough, I was looking for dress patterns today but the shop didn't have what I wanted.

So the sewing machine is still in the cupboard.

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 20:16

I would love to be able to make dresses (am still at simple thing stage)

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 20:31

I can't make dresses.

Well, I might be able to. I don't know. Haven't tried one yet.

I want a dress. I know exactly what I want, it looks like this:
!!
/\

but I can't find one anywhere. So I thought I would have a go at making one.

Whether it will turn out ok or not....

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 20:36

oooh keep us posted, what sort of material?

I have just plugged the sewing machine in!!!! (its sitting behind me on dining room table)

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 20:48

this is kind of what I'm looking for

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 20:50

that is lovely, very stylish yet modern.
is it for a particular occasion?

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 18/03/2008 20:58

no.

Just to have it.

I reeeeeeeally want it.

If I had it, I could go to such stylish places and be so chic and have so much fun with my funky dress and my pretty accessories.

But I can't find it so am destined to go through life in my jeans

marmitemad · 18/03/2008 21:05

you could wear it to Brighton, would look fab with a tiara

have just tried sewing machine and it keeps jamming up

morning ladies,
must be the weather, bright and sunny but cold here today.

ridiculous I know, just couldn't get to sleep, dh stumbled in at 00:45am then dd was crying and had to cuddle her for a while. Still on the bright side I managed to finish both The Diving Bell and Small Island, really enjoyed both although the Diving bell is not an uplifting book, have got that bereft good book feeling now .

Still debating whether to go out for chinese with baby group mums tonight, dh says go but I don't want to upset anyone as there are 2 pg ladies going and will now be going out on nFriday and Sat nights so not sure my aged body/head can cope .

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 19/03/2008 09:29

morning

do the baby group people meet up often? if not, then go. If it is quite regular, then if you're not feeling like it, then stay in.

The tiredness will kick in tomorrow.

I have dp's laptop so have settled myself in the comfy chair, put cbeebies on the telly for ds and am planning on staying here all day.

Uh oh... ambulance first response just pulled up outside neighbours house.

marmitemad · 19/03/2008 09:47

we meet every friday afternoon at swimming pool with los and generally go out once a month without them but I haven't seen everyone for 2 weeks now and we aren't swimming this week, guess I will see how I feel by the end of the day.

am very of you at home, hope its not too serious next door?

have just eaten 2 slices toast with too much marmite on them and I already had cereal at home!

where is everyone else, busy having a rl?

SquonkForgotHerEasterName · 19/03/2008 09:50

guess so.

rl! pah!

ambulance still there. It's not actually next door, we live on one side of a green, they are in the opposite corner. The old lady that lives there had a hip transplant about a year ago and hasn't really recovered, so am guessing it's for her.

They're dropping like flies on the green this year, we've already had two die
