DH is building DS’s multigym in our lobby. DH’s cross trainer and my treadmill both at present not being used are already in there. We’ll be able to take subscriptions soon. It’s also my ironing, sewing and summer drying-when-it’s-raining room and it’s only small. <sigh>

Evening. It tipped down with rain when I was heading into work. I got slightly soggy wearing a hoodless coat. Oops etc. Then I had an absolute shocker of a start to work with multiple 'computer says no' issues and bureaucratic fuckwittery. I shovelled vast amounts of chocolatly biscuits and cakes into my mouth for the first few hours of the day.

apricot - I find that gym equipment is very useful for drying sheets on/hanging coathangers off Irritating about losing sewing space though. <cbf, etc>

Do you think mogadon would work for IdiotKitty? I don't actually know what it is, but my brain tells me it's some sort of sedative?

I have the week off next week, so predictably this week is a mad rush to get too much stuff done at work <grumps>

Last night we had the excitement of a power cut just as I was reading in bed, so that meant a delay in getting to sleep while I reported it, then had to get up because something was beeping, set more alarms etc. <more grumps>

Feel like I am losing my bestie suddenly in the last week. She has stopped messaging me. We would message everyday. Wed meet one a week for a walk and then the odd night out. Now she doesn't respond to my messages. We also work at the same company. I worked with her today and she was not her self.

I really don't know what to do. It's making feel ill She is the person who gets me and knows everything about me.

What should I do. I think she might be having a moment of depression

What we need is proper incentives to do physio exercises LetUs - not just 'it will help/stop hurting', but actual incentives like HBF-related activity. 10 reps = 1 snog, 1 set = 1 snog plus back (and front) massage, full set = HBF will do whatever you want, including housework

IdiotKitty has been and idiot, as ever. Belting round the house at full speed, being scared of his tail etc. He's been snuggled on me since I sat down, but will doubtless switch to 'kill' mode soon.

Afternoon. Nice day, no rain for a change. I coloured bleached my hair this morning and I’m now sewing the jumper together. I’ll be glad when it’s finished.

I do use the gym equipment as a washing line Helen, very useful. I haven’t exactly lost sewing space as the sewing machine goes on the ironing board when it’s needed and I stand up to sew.

Evening. We had a bit of rain, but not much. Lots of work has been done, and thinking about it, I could do with getting more done tonight, since I've done all the wordles! Though DH is just putting Pointless on.
That's a bit of a brainwave Apricot - putting the sewing machine on the ironing board. I'm not sure our ironing board is sturdy enough for that - and it's rarely out anyway

Today I am tired because I diverted back to work before I went to bed. On the plus side, I've got all the emails sent that needed to go out, so now I can pretty much get back to the other big project that's taking a lot of time and effort. And the dreaded 'year end' at BoringOfficeJob

The HBFs are impressed by your stretching LetUs but are also apparently fictitious useless at housework...

Just woke up from falling asleep on the couch and found that nice landladies left some food and dessert outside my door, in case I was too tired to cook. I'm just gobsmacked. They're so nice! And they also offered to drive me to the hospital and also pick me up but I managed that on my own.

Today has been year end purgatory, but if it's not done now then it's probably not going to get done. Also I was grown-up and sorted out some pension stuff. Whoop.

Am away for one night, neighbour is popping in to feed Chonk and Floof, suspect he'll see neither! They are an odd pair - I let them out in the garden for a bit yesterday and they had a weird stand off with each other, complete with growling. Chonk has some issues, Floof just seems shy and a bit wary of Chonk's moods.

Afternoon. Did the usual animal feed and then went back to bed for a looooooooooooong lie-in, which didn't get off to the best start with idiot kitty being an idiot in the bedroom, and both cats playing musical chairs at to who was on which bed, but everyone settled down and went back to sleep eventually.
Now I'm having lunch before attempting to mow the fiddly bits of lawn so DH can take the ride-on about later and make it all look... well, less abandoned.
Then there will be house tidying. Be still my beating heart, etc.

Afternoon. Sunshine and showers, very cold wind. I haven't done a lot really, I'm trying to get all the caravan stuff together, as we're going on Tuesday and I won't be able to do much tomorrow as we have DS's DC all day.

Hail and wind today. Fun times. Haven’t done much really. Finished a jigsaw (more or less because some pieces must be very similar but then the few I have left don’t fit the gaps). Couldn’t face the messed up cardigan but I’ve started some baby hats for a local charity. I’ve done one in a medium premature size. I realise it’s a while since I’ve seen a newborn and obviously premature will be smaller, but this hat seems tiny.

Massive <cbf> at stupid man on phone in the quiet carriage. I was paranoid about eating a packet of Wotsits in case they were too crunchy.

It wouldn’t look abandoned Helen. It would look natural or wild meadow. Go with that.
