The house is now vaguely tidy and we have a selection of different sized Elk's with us who have space to actually sleep indoors and are not relegated to tents for lack of space indoors. Bonus!

Sanditon series 3 is available here for free yet, so I'm rewatching series one and with then watch series 2 which I missed. I'd forgotten how much male nudity there was in it. Not complaining as long as it's the hot male lead

I don't really remember season one of Sanditon but really appreciated all the pretty men in season 2 😋

I think I watched a bit of Sanditon actually when it first started and couldn’t get on with it. Is this the one with Kris Marshall in it? I might give it another go.

I’m absolutely carrying on with making up Apricot (I’m not - I’m knitting a sleeve).

DS2’s SportingActivity is now on a Friday evening which frees up Sundays nicely but urgh at having to do Friday evening pickup.

Evening wenches. I'm tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired. We took BabyElk to the zoo and then beach and walked in the fresh sea air (wearing wooly hat and scarf because the cold wind is everywhere) and I'm just ready to drop. Elk says 'hello' and stuff (currently wrangling BabyElk into bed)

I didn't/haven't watched Sanditon - yet another tv thing that has passed me by. We're about to watch a livestreamed Foo Fighters concert on YouTube - DH has just worked out how to hook the TV to YouTube, though it doesn't seem to be working. Ho hum. Ah - yes it is. DH had pressed the wrong button. I'm still tired though.

Evening all. It's been lovely and sunny here, though the wind is still a bit chilly. We have all been out and about doing cultural things (wandering round galleries looking bemused at 'art', plus a bit of shopping), and I'm pooped (#broken record). DS has also been sporting today

I scalped DS a couple of days ago apricot I wonder how long he'll want me to carry on cutting his hair for him.

Ironing already done. Parents visited. More visiting this afternoon. Might sit out in the garden this afternoon.

Afternoon all. I have been unsuccessfully shoe shopping with DS. Partial success in confirming his shoe size, but I'm not willing to pay £70 for something that's really too wide for him .

Other than that, it's warm and sunny and the garden wants attention.

Am doing a bit of work prep for next week and then will put the new bird feeder up in the garden. And then water all the plants. I clearly need to rain dance harder!

More Sanditon this evening - utter historical tosh, but everyone needs that in their life although that Foo Fighters gig sounds tempting, will have to search that one out.

I'm almost afraid to tell you about my dream, it's so weird It was about a design contest and one of the designers chewed his fabric so it got a certain texture and he would also chew two different fabrics to mix them together. I mean, WTF!?

Shoes. Forgot to drag DS2 into the supermarket I went into today. And he hasn’t tried his shirt on yet.

We’re trying to book a holiday that I’m not fussed about going on and DS2 will need loads of new stuff for that. Thankfully he loves shopping 🙄

I'm with you on the rain dance Fancy it's very dry (poor garden) I need to pull my finger out and try harder with watering the veg.

DH will be taking DS to cheaper shoe shops next week - he's being a bit fussy about the style he wants (for the first time ever - now that he's in bloody adult sizes. <le sigh enormous>)

Back to school/work tomorrow (so the Elks have departed - the house feels a bit empty ) I'm sure you can imagine the resulting huge lack of enthusiasm here!

Oh - forgot to say. Apparently the Foo Fighters concert was a streaming event that DH had registered for. There are probably other concerts on YouTube though.

It's dull and grey outside - very uninspiring weather. Though not cold - silver lining and all that..

Next door have gone on holiday, so I'm on double chicken and watering duties for a week or so. Their garden will get taken care of more than mine <gives self boot up the arse to water our veg patch too.>

We have also realised that DH will not be taking DS shoe shopping due to them being away for SportingActivity, which means I need to persuade DS that an after-school trip is necessary. <le enooooooooooooooormous sigh>

This prom thing is really expensive isn’t it LetUs? DGD got her dress back in January, it’s gorgeous, but OMG the price. And then there’s the car. Poor DS. Our two never had a prom. I remember an end of term dance when I was at school but it was nothing special. I think it’s got a bit out of hand.

Weather perked up nicely.

Urgh at after school shopping trip Helen which is even worse than a normal shopping trip.

A plus to DS2’s prom is that it’s very local to us and he’s not fussed about a car or anything. And he can use the suit again (as long as he doesn’t grow too much too quickly), same for the shoes. I do agree Apricot that it all seems a bit much.

I made the mistake of sitting down when I got home. I’ve not budged since.
