Morning all. I have been out doing more signage and prep for VillageEasterEvent. DH has been out to Tesco where the hordes have descended to stockpile food and supplies for the impending hours when it will be shut .

Weather is 'meh'. Chilly wind still as well. Brrr, etc.

Hope that Fancy has a lovely weekend with DSis and BiL, and LetUs is playing in a yarn pit, and Apricot is having a nice caravan trip, and Wicked isn't being snowed on (or is, but is also snuggled up in bed with HBFs)

I rather like the sound of a yarn pit. Had a lovely outing with BestFriend this morning complete with tea shop visit because it is The Law. Have finished the back of the thing I’m knitting. Have stopped it now for the evening as it needs a lot of concentration which seems to have wandered off.

Four loads of washing done and dried. Result is lots of ironing though. Weather’s been lovely.

Ah yes Helen, the mad shopping dash for extra of everything.

Hope Apricot’s having a super time at the caravan, and Fancy’s having a lovely visit.

We did have sunshine earlier, but now it's just cloud again. We are going for fish and chips at the beach today, which will be cold nice

Afternoon. The weather was lovely when we arrived yesterday but there has been some high cloud today. We went to the beach this morning which was a bit chilly and DD and I attempted to sit in the sun this afternoon but didn’t last long.

Fish and chips on the beach sounds lovely Helen.

Glad LetUs’s outing was successful, and hope Fancy is enjoying her family’s visit and WW is enjoying her weekend viewing.

Weather was lovely today. Had some baby cuddles but he started having a bit of a cry which stopped when he went to BigSis or DS1. I shan’t take it personally Starting a new knitting project which involved stitches I’d not done before. With the help of YouTube and starting from scratch three fucking times it’s finally underway.

Oooh - well done on persevering with the new stitches LetUs.

The beach wasn't as cold as expected - less wind, so it was quite nice and even warm !!! at times. Just watching the forecast and it's positively balmy tomorrow.

The beautifully sunny day did not last. No rain but went dull late morning and quite breezy.

Did visiting, did knitting and baking. Put the ironing off to tomorrow.

Evening all. It's been sunny, but a bit chilly later on. Much visiting has been done, including an unexpected drop-in, which was embarrassing because of the house being a pigsty lovely.

I would have liked to have got more done in the garden, and get a wash through the machine, but ho hum. Tomorrow they are forecasting rain, and of course DS is out tomorrow doing sporty stuff. <le sigh> Speaking of which, I need to make him a packed lunch.

Having a lovely weekend - second theatre visit tonight, this time FancyMan is coming with us.

Evening, I have done some gardening in between showers and hail, so things have been dug up and moved in a productive sort of way. Plus helped pack up VillageEasterEvent.

Morning all. We have bright sunshine and wind, so I hope that stays because I've just put a load of washing on to make the most of it!

KillerKitty is asleep in a box (presumably still digesting whatever it was that he ate all but the stomach of overnight - possibly a baby rabbit) and IntelligentCat wants to go upstairs (which would mean me moving to open the door, so she's downstairs for now).

I have the freelancing thing, though I've rather enjoyed 4 days of not having to do any work, so I'd quite like to carry that theme on.

Afternoon wenches. We came home last night. The weather over the weekend wasn’t as promised by the app but it didn’t rain so we were able to get out and about and generally had a nice time.

However, it’s tipped it down all day today so I haven’t been able to start on the mountain of washing I brought back.

We’ve got DGS today and haven’t been able to do much with him either but he seems happy enough on his iPad with his friends.

Pleased it at least stayed dry for you Apricot. It is frustrating though when you can’t get on with holiday washing.
