No FancyMan today, so I need to crack on with laundry and do a Big Shop while friends are out in BigCityNearby

High-five to Fancy as laundry twin. One load out and another in the washing machine. (Work avoidance tactic.) No cat vom though - hurrah!

Afternoon. Frosty this morning but lovely sunny day which motivated me to do some housework.

DH and DS were doing some sorting yesterday and they’ve put the wrong stuff in the recycling bin. It really annoys me. It was down the bottom so I had to get it on its side and crawl in to retrieve it.

It’s karate tonight for DGS so DH will bring fish and chips back with him. Yay!

Didn’t notice the sunrise today but the sunset on the way home from work had lots of lovely pinks and oranges and yellows. Not quite as poetic as Helen but it looked beautiful. Lots of things do on the way home

I shall have to prep a washing for tomorrow evening. Actually, no I won’t as I’m out for a meal tomorrow.

Motivational sunlight - now there's a thing. You can see how dirty the windows are and eventually you get your arse in gear to clean them. It does cheer you up though, so I can see that if you're in the right frame of mind, you'd get up enough energy to do housework without trudging about like a zombie.

Morning wenches. Cold this morning with a hoar frost - not surprising since it was clear/misty last night. The sunrise started off vaguely pinkish today and then went a bit non-descript. Then I looked out the window and the grey clouds were dappled in pink - v. scenic. Now faced to grey and back to pink-ish again. Kaleidoscope (colour-side - not with lots of mind-bending reflections).

Idiot Kitty is bored this morning - lots of chirping and then jumping up onto windowsills, worktops, scrambling down behind furniture etc etc. <le sigh> He's just found a feather so that entertained him for 10 seconds. Hopefully he'll follow me out when I do the chickens, and wear himself out a bit running up and down trees. I slaos have a shrew to chuck out. Poor shrew.Intelligent Cat is safely upstairs,

Chilly here today and marvellously sunny now the fog has gone. Have a bit more sorting out at home to get through this evening, but as most of the serious cleaning has been done in the newly decorated rooms that's not too unpleasant.

All the talk of Downton from letus is tempting me to start rewatching that - I have ironing to do & DA was always my historical tosh distraction when ironing

Evening. Today has been working and packing and stressing about packing. I think it's been a lovely day here too - in fact I know it was because I went for a walk.

Idiot Kitty had a barney with a mystery tabby this evening. DS and I were upstairs packing and heard a cat fight - found IntelligentCat asleep on the sofa so went outside and Idiot came barrelling in, chased by a large Tabby who screeched to a halt at the sight of us<cbf>. Chased the Tabby off, so hopefully it will stay away. (Wishful thinking I suspect.)

Glad the meal was good Wicked.

We had a couple of cats in our garden on Sunday morning, sort of circling each other. Then they weren’t circling each and I told them to get a room.

Have also been out for something to eat which was delicious.

Chilly again but short day which is just as well as I had a shocking night’s sleep.

Morning all. Cold, frosty and misty. There's a sunrise going on somewhere, but not here. (Well, there's a slightly brighter spot of mist to the east, but not much else.) All the birds are working very hard at eating as much and as fast as possible.

The problem with bringing in KrabbyCatty as HardCatForHire is that I think she'd probably then beat up Idiot Kitty and Intelligent Cat too, for good measure <arf> at her keeping her eye in by mauling guests.

I think we may be pretty much packed other than DS who will deal with his hand luggage tonight.

I wonder what was in that food last evening? I had the weirdest dream, apparently I got shot in the head 30 years ago and I did an X-ray to see if the bullet was still located in my head although that would explain a lot

Then all of a sudden I was in Milan to watch a football match between Milan and some other team. I had a water bottle and lost the cap but the man next to me offered me the cap from his bottle, such a gentleman. I mean WTF?
