I’ve been working on the embellishments for the jumper which I’ve been putting off. I love actual knitting but hate the rest of it, but now I’ve started I’ll push myself to finish it.

Evening. We've had nice weather - not massively sunny, but dry and breezy, so the cat-vommed throw got hung out to dry. Then left out past sunset and it got damp again. <le sigh>

School called back and don't want to see DS until next week.

Today I woke with a headache too, and feeling a bit queasy. FMCovid and hurrah for paracetamol. Then I've just been working and trying to make sense of spreadsheets and accounts, as ever. Not very exciting. Though I'm off work now for two weeks due to packing and then actually going on impending vacance al la ski resort. Whoop! C'est bloody expensive mais nous avons 3 years of holiday money stored up, so it's a bit plus d'accord. You are all on duty for picking up eggs from the cats and grooming the chickens. Je will report in on the status of tout les HBFs, obvs. Not that we go until the end of next week. But it's something to panic over the packing look forward to.

Cold has come out just in time for the weekend. Supposed to be out tonight for fish and chips with all three parents. DS1 is coming down to collect a parcel so he’s coming too. I’ll have to see how I am as it’d be a waste of delicious food and don’t want to pass anything on to my parents or LovelyMIL.

Afternoon all. I am still testing positive, so I took IntelligentCat to the vet and left her at the front door and chatted to vet by phone. No obvious cause for the VomitComet behaviour so she got jabbed with anti-nauseu meds, my bank account got emptied, and we're home again.

I've mended some gloves and now I'm off to clean out the chicken house, because I know how to live
