I really want to get started with IBH but I want to finish Stone Blind first. I’m having enough bother with that getting too heavy to hold in the bath, so I’ve no chance with IBH.

Had a lovely day off. Got an email from wool place to let me know that something that had been out of stock was available so I drove over and got it.

I went for the blood test this morning and booked us in for flu jabs on Saturday.

I’m making myself a hat in Christmas colours. It’s supposed to knit up looking like a Fair Isle pattern. We shall see.

This morning I came down to a growling and hissing Killer Kitty who didn't want anyone to take his rabbit new toy away from him. Wonderful - I'm astonished that he got it though the cat flap, because it's not a small rabbit. <makes mental note to check that the cat flap hasn't been ripped off its hinges> Still, I'm off to BoringOfficeJob, so DH can clear up the carnage when he gets up

Morning. Have swapped days, so today is my 'Monday' , FancyMan is due round soon and then out to dinner with a friend. Need to rush out to the the shops.......

I’ve used that wool LetUs. ⬇️ It was a bit of a nightmare as I wanted all the pieces to match up so the sleeves had to have the same number of stitches as the front and back, that’s why they’re balloon sleeves. You’ll be fine with a hat, it sounds fab.

Evening all. It didn't rain on me - fortunately it was mid-afternoon by the time we had a brief 'end of days' rainstorm. DH WhatsApp'd me at work with the cheery news that KillerKitty had been a vomit-comet. I blame the rabbit which seemed suspicously stiff when he was trying to drag it about the house this morning - I hope he's not stupid enough to eat already-dead stuff, but it wouldn't surprise me if he 'killed' a rabbit that was already on its way out. StupidKitten. Carpets have been washed. As has the washing that DH put out in the wind to dry. (The wind also brought the rain with it.)

Hope that Fancy has a fun 'Monday' and a nice dinner out. Fingers crossed for apricot's computer.

We had rain most of the day, then a little bit of sunshine, and then allllll of the rain. There was a very lovely double rainbow at one point though.

Day off today as it’s BestFriend’s mum’s funeral. Fortunately no rain forecast.

DS2 continued to be a pain and I did snap and words were had. Sigh.

Phoned the PC repair man to see what’s going on. He says he’s working on it, he thinks it’s a Windows problem. Don’t know whether that’s good or bad. <sigh>

Hope the funeral went as well as possible LetUs.

Also hope KillerKitten has left the wildlife alone. Eeeeek at dead rabbit.

Yesterday was a very good day, a lovely day with FancyMan and then a wonderful catch up over dinner with my friend. She always jokes that she can talk the hind legs off a donkey but as she is always interesting and a genuinely nice person I think that's a positive thing! Much nattering was done by both of us and a fair bit of chuckling.

And then back to work today. Not sure what I actually achieved all day apart from having a good moan hi hum. Working at home tomorrow, so hoping to be left in peace so I can get lots done.

I do hope the repair man can work his magic apricot, I think there was some big Windows update recently (maybe over the weekend?) as we were having lots of problems at work on Monday.

Glad the funeral went well letus & hoping the wildlife stays alive and outside Helen.

Forgot a mad dream I had a few nights ago. Part of it included Prince William crossing a canyon on a zip wire but he had to do some of it by holding on to something like a mould with his teeth. No idea.

Nattering and chuckling with a friend sounds an excellent way to spend an evening Fancy.

Dull here but it’s Friday and DS1 is home for the weekend tomorrow.

Morning all. The sunrise this morning was pinky/orange from who I could see, but it was behind the trees and I was busy making breakfast. What I can tell you is that I had an utterly bonkers dream - wench outing to the London Book Fair (okaaaay - we like books, so I can sort of see my brain making the connection) where we had to queue up at a Park and Ride for a bus there; while you were waiting you could book slots to see authors (nope - that's not what happens at the LBF). At some point someone said that they'd got Olivia Colman to draw something on their shoulder to be tattooed and was very relieved when we all said that it looked like whatever it was meant to look like (I did know what it was but I can't remember now). Wicked was very relieved about this because she was also going to get a tattoo as well and had been worried that we'd laugh at her. The next part had us all sleeping in a dormitory where I woke up early because LetUs was eating biscuits and the wrapper was noisy - she had woken up hungry, and explained that she always eats biscuits when she wakes up early. Baffling and bonkers.

I don't feel much like working today. I tried to go to bed early, but the kitchen needed to be cleared up and by the time I'd done that my computer's updates were nearly done so I word/quor/oct/duotrigordled until that was sorted, and then it was basically midnight.

That’s interesting about the Windows update Fancy. It’s looking as if my computer is kaput. PC man is going to back-up all my files and photos and then try to reinstall Windows but he’s not very hopeful. To be fair it is 8 years old, but cynical me thinks these updates won’t work on old PCs and sales of new ones are being generated. A similar thing is happening with my iPhone and happened with my old iPad. A lot of the apps, including eBay which is important to me, no longer work.

Some really bonkers dreams there.
