Today has been busy, apart from a walk, I've been on the go all day. Painting/fruiting/other-stuffing.

I know what you mean about parties LetUs - I wasn't much looking forward that wedding a couple of weeks ago, though it turned out to be lots of fun due to the dancing. Small talk isn't my thing. Mad Aunties sounds like much more fun!

DH had a flying lesson once, but I wasn't there so it was fine

Today is work. This morning, the weekend being over, DS announced that he really needs some football boots for school.... It didn't occur to him tell me that when we could have gone shopping?! <le sigh...>

We're having a stressy evening - DS' xbox is playing up and he's in danger of losing loads of progress. DH has tried to help. I'm keeping a low profile and trying to be all calm and soothing.

Had a pleasant Monday - dental hygienist appointment this morning, so my teeth are sparkly, and then a walk with FancyMan. It was lovely in the woods, surrounded by green after weeks of looking at a brown landscape. It was warm and humid though so we were tired when we got back. And I was a sweaty menopausal mess, luckily FancyMan is far too polite to notice it, or so he says

I have to log in for an 'advanced' training session on some new computer thingy. Think of me kindly. (I've done the 'basic' one, but it was ages ago and we're still not actually using the system, so I can't remember the basic stuff, and I'm not convinced that this 'advanced' session will be much help )

Had to find a different way home from work as I think I’d still be sitting in traffic. May be a slight exaggeration.

Back is better than yesterday thank you. I need to get organised and get booked in for a sports massage or something.

Hopefully the training course went well Helen. I had to explain very simple tasks today on our system that has been in place for a good number of years to two of the more senior partners. Only senior in position, not in age. One of them even said there should be a simple way of finding the information he was after by just doing a basic search. There is. I was looking at the information he wanted on the very first search screen.

I really will get an early night tonight.

Evening. Training was sort of useful, but as above (with extra 'watching someone whizz a mouse across the screen while they say what they're doing and I get lost.). I'm feeling a bit stressed about being expected to try and get all my work done as well and learn how to use a new system which also we're not using yet. FML, etc. Oh well.

Also, my washing dried out on the line - then I forgot it was there until late and it was getting damp and clammy by the time I remembered it. FML, yet again.

Getting training on a system then not using it for a while is a bit pointless.
