DS and I have just finished watching the Lazarus Project, which left us both going "YAY!!! Now what...? Argh... that was the end of the series!" But he's just searched online and it's confirmed for a second series. This is a good thing, because although it dragged a bit mid-series, it then picked up again.

Sorry about your shit day at work LetUs, and WTF WW?! You've not had a bed for 2 months?! Respect, as ever, to Apricot and knitting skills I just change the pattern and colours and add a bit of Swiss darning - <mind boggles> And finally hope that Fancy arrived safely and is having a fab time.

We didn’t carry on with The Lazarus Project. Think we did two maybe three episodes. Not because we weren’t enjoying it but more that we started watching other stuff and then forgot about it. Might try to carry on with it.

Weather a bit gloomy today but it’s short day Wednesday so yeah for that.

Morning all. Lazarus Project definitely dipped a bit in the middle of the series, if an 'Oh just get on with it' sort of way, but then picked up again.

Afternoon. Nice day, I’ve managed to get some sun, although it was chilly when the clouds came over. DH went off to the caravan at 6 o’clock so now it’s just me and Misty for three days. Yay! He’s a good man but he does drive me mad sometimes.

Evening. I have spent the day with more spreadsheets and budgets and trying to make them agree with each other. Whoop, etc. Then watching House with DS and DH this evening. Life really not massively exciting, which is fine.

Morning all. I was woken at 6am by a hornet trying to get out of our bedroom window. urgh. Having got it out of the window, then I had buzzing stuck in my head and wandered round the rest of upstairs trying to figure out of the buzzing was real or not, so I have up and went to feed cats and chickens. CuteKitten was very bemused by my appearance that early. then I went back to bed.

That is my day so far. Other than working now of course.

Yes to wordle, and Quordle and Octordle #addicted. There was a thread on MN recently about 'AIBU in wanting it more than once a day' which was all about Wordle and its alternatives

Have been shopping with DS2 tonight for school shoes and trousers. It’s one of his most favourite activities and he definitely does not prefer to stay at home, playing a computer game and then missing the start of the football. <drinks>

DH slept badly last night, ergo so did I, and then we both slept in and were woken up by his alarm at 8:30. Cue much flailing. Animals were fed at great speed, then I dived into Boring Office job, and a quick vet trip. They won't give me flea treatment because they haven't seen a cat recently enough. I mean - is there some black market in flea treatments where people pretend to have pets and sell the treatment for inflated prices? <pssst, wanna buy a spot-on?> Anyway, IntelligentCat has been seen (much to her disgust - 'What are you doing? I'm sleeping? Don't put me in that box! Why do I have to go in your car?!'), and I can now dose the pair of them up.

In other news, we have scored last-minute tickets to a gig in BigCity, so there is much flailing (again) and working out what can be taken into the venue and what sized bag, and how we get there, etc etc.

Afternoon. Yes, I got a bit more done this morning, but the sun came out this afternoon, so I went outside.

No idea when DH is back. In his usual manner all I've heard is that he arrived at the caravan and a panicked message that DS had tried to phone me and I didn't answer. I was in the bedroom with the TV on and didn't hear it.

Oh that's worrying about the flea treatment Helen. I've only done Misty once with the tube the rescue centre gave me. She doesn't go outside of course, but I suppose she should be done. I've no idea when she last went to the vets, the only record I have is jabs last November.

Yay for good night's sleep WW.

Evening all. I have spreadsheeted and budgeted and tried to reconcile cash and financial accounting all day. This culminated in a 7pm email saying "I don't know if it will help but try these figures instead." I am pooped.

I'm sure that you can get flea treatments with the vet helping Apricot, I suspect (from the horrendous price) that we have a super-duper flea/worm/tick treatment.

Usual Saturday here of washing and housework with additional hospital appointment as DS2 is going for an MR scan. Not sure how it will go given his track record with medical stuff but fingers crossed. I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Afternoon. Bit of a miserable day weather-wise.

DH came back yesterday evening after phoning to say he’d get fish and chips on the way.

Managed to get a couple of loads of washing done and dried on the line this morning. DS2 did very well. He’s having investigations after he had his orthopaedic appointment the other week.

I’ve done some knitting and then I’ve done it again as I buggered up a few rows.
