Morning all. Cloudy and a bit of a breeze here. Not outdoor jigsaw weather I don't think.

No HBFs in my dreams, or gutters. I was back at university instead with a room that didn't lock, and trying to do something/find someone in a bookshop. It's all a bit hazy.

Lovely day. Sun was out but then was quite cloudy every so often. Got quite a lot done in the house including eleventy billion loads of washing. Did some jigsawing.

DH is banging on about stuff he doesn’t really know much about but which I do because connected to my job. He’s busy explaining how the procedure works. I’m drinking vodka and ignoring him.

It's been warm and sunny for most of the day. I have been in the garden, ripping up nettles and bindweed and ground elder, because I know how to live I must have done more stuff, but...

Today will be visiting and ironing and then friends’ house for a barbecue.

Afternoon, mostly laundry and pottering in the garden today I think followed by ironing and TV this evening. The excitement!

Afternoon. I’ve been washing and ironing and ebaying all day and I’m knackered. It’s been very warm but not much sun.

I’m now being a cat bed. Misty’s breed are known for being aloof and not being lap cats so I wasn’t expecting too much, but in the last few days she’s been jumping up on me for a fuss. Awwwww.

I can only see one difference in the AT pics and haven’t got time to study them any longer. Yes, too much beard for me too, but I’ll watch him.

Didn't do much today, it was very tiring.

Morning all. So far, it's cloudy and has attempted to rain outside. Drizzle seems to be the forecast for the morning. That would be because we're going out for a mooch at a local fair. DS will slouch after us with his face tripping him and complaining about the unfairness of life and the trauma of separation from his x-box and his friends. We'll have a very jolly time. <grits teeth>

I am apparently making an early start on the ironing. Sitting staring at the ironing is not making it go any less though so I may need to change tactics.

But a stunning turn of fate, we bumped into DS' best friend from primary school while we were out, so he cheered up immensely and the pair of them beetled off together to be teenage boys on a day out for an hour of so. I am absolutely trashed though - lots of walking and standing and watching, and I could go to sleep right now.

In other news I had a walk yesterday though a nearby field which had a couple of quite friendly Friesian horses in it. This must mean there are HBFs nearby to ride them, but they very inconsiderately didn't appear. Rude.

Afternoon. Nice day which is good as DS turned up at lunchtime with the washing from the caravan where he’s been for the last week. It went straight in the washer and on the line as DH needs it on Wednesday as he’s off there with some golfing friends.

That was lucky that DS met his friend Helen.

Hope LetUs managed to do some jigsawing and/or knitting. I’m a bit stuck with mine. That’s the trouble with making it up as you go along, I’m not sure what to do with the sleeves.

Ironing done and everything put away, and I finally reached the bottom of the washing basket.

Bit too chilly for outside jigsawing so I cracked on with the knitting instead. I’m coming up to a tricky bit so I’ve put it aside for now so I didn’t bugger it up. I’m well impressed that you’re making it up yourself Apricot!

Morning all. Apparently I didn't post last night. Not that I had anything to say.

It's mostly sunny here with big fluffy clouds floating about. I should be working too.

Last day or so has been the usual stress of getting everything sorted in order to go away and a bit of respite when FancyMan came round yesterday.

Evening. Lovely day, but I haven’t been outside as we’ve had DGS. We watched Top Gun 2 this afternoon. DH doesn’t know where it came from, whether we’ve rented it or bought it and if we can watch it again, as DGS found it and DH just put the number in. Anyway it was good if just as corny as the original.

I know the number of stitches and rows that fit me LetUs so I just change the pattern and colours and add a bit of Swiss darning on some of them.
