A very beautiful looking day today. From indoors. Outside was a bit nippy.

Did manage a short walk with FancyMan and then home for lunch. Eventually - got a bit distracted by robins at the bird feeder. DS is back from his holidays, he said 'there wasn't much to do apart from walk, go to the chippy for tea and then spend the evening in the pub'. He didn't look unhappy about it .

Work was spectacularly crap, bookended with so many sets of temporary lights and roadworks along my journey both to and from work it was like a cross between Wacky Races and the assault course from The Krypton Factor, and added about an extra 30 minutes each way.

It might have been a bit warmer today, but I'm not convinced. Certainly not warm enough to cut grass here - we had a frost overnight.

CuteKitten is currently hanging off the end of a rope, tangled in killing it. The rope is wrapped round my leg so I'm just plucking it occasionally like an over-sized guitar string. Occasionally I reel in in and throw it out again. Its a bit like fly-fishing to catch a small furry lunatic.

RE. Ironing injuries. Agreed, they wouldn't be good, though Dr Aramis would be able to treat/distract you!

Evening. Yes, I gave DS a lift one my way to work - in the opposite direction He was on time and the bus left while he was running for it. I suspect only the last part of that statement is accurate. Still, it might give him incentive to get his act in gear more promptly in the mornings.

Work was work, and the weather was dull until this afternoon when it cleared over.

Shared wee humphy face for MiniHelen and his school bus. I’m so glad DS2 walks to school, although sometimes he does cut it a bit fine. College bus and DS1 was a different matter back in the day and I suspect DS2 will be the same - eating breakfast whilst putting shoes on and leaving the house.
