My work day was not particularly kind to me but it’s done for the week so I don’t care.

I had an immensely boring and annoying day trying to sort out 'year end' stuff - #tedium.

My back is almost 100% again, thank goodness. I haven't really noticed it for a few days, now that I can get my socks on without trouble!

Afternoon all. It's grey and miserable here still, thought I have been digging in the garden, and also doing painting. I also had a mega-lie in until midday, so I haven't exactly been working hard all day. I might not admit that to DH (though I probably will so we can laugh about it).

Hope that LetUs is having a lovely visit with DS1 and Fancy enjoyed last night's pink.

We had a surprise pub lunch with the DC and DGC which was lovely, so I don't have to cook.

Watched the first episode of the final series of Peaky Blinders last night. They wove a lovely tribute to Helen McCrory into the storyline. She was such a huge part of the series.

Grey and dull here, have been pottering around not doing much really and am currently under a cat. Unfortunately, I do need to move to get a couple of things done before sitting down with the next Homeland episode.

Is sunny again but probably still cold, but the sunshine does make it better. I meant to get up early because I’ve lots to do but I fell back asleep so now I’m a bit cross with myself which is silly. Baking, shopping for stuff to donate via niece’s school, visiting, ironing, knitting. So I’m sitting on my arse not doing any of it.

I was up at 6am for livestock, then back to bed where I lay awake trying not to squash a cat until 8am. I must have fallen asleep eventually though, because I woke up when DH got up at 10am.

Today's jobs include horsing, painting, gardening, furniture moving, something-else-I-can't-remember . Current job is as a cat-bed for CuteKitten though. Unless the little sod jumps off and gives me no excuse. SoddingKitten.

Morning. Am having Sunday morning cuddles with ScaredyCat, she has been quite clingy this weekend.

In fact I’ve done bugger all except some knitting and mending some trousers for DH.

I’ve now got hiccups.

It's ben sunny all day so of course I've been stuck inside Got up late and then worked for a couple of hours. Then been reading some smutty Star Wars fan fics

at fish and chips.

The day has been a blur of stuff. Horsing and furniture moving happened anyway. Also I washed down furniture which was a bit dusty/potential mouldy. And cooking.

I’ve baked twice, shopped, visited, collected DS2 from sportingactivity, visited, ironed and then finally got chance to do some knitting. Then DS2 had a massive meltdown about homework so that’s teed up Monday nicely. Sigh.

Good lord LetUs - that sounds like a very busy day.
