Evening. We have had pancakes because I never got round to finishing up Saturday's batter. Also, DH has been doing my head in slightly. "Can I help?" he says. And proceeds to bimble about and not do what I asked him to do. Arghhhhhhhhhh. He means well... HBFs, on the other hand, do exactly what we want without needing to be asked.

On the plus side, my headache went and we finished painting the bedroom walls.

I finished watching Round the World this evening, and it was great fun. Other than that, I was at work and it was dull. And my feet aren't overly enjoying wearing smart shoes. They are too used to slippers and sandals!

Love your description of the RAF shooing other aircraft away,. The thing I’ve nearly finished is for my mum and then the next is for LovelyMIL. The idea is that they’ll be gifts for the what feels like rapidly approaching Mother’s Day. Hopefully the second one won’t take as long as I’m used to the pattern and the —slightly annoying— yarn.

Today's planned painting got replaced with polyfilla-ing (I love polyfilla-ing) so, no painting, but there is a much better surface to paint now, once the fillings have dried out.
