Today is washing, homework, tidying and attempting to get back into my knitting and get my brain around the next bit I’m doing.

Afternoon. Very sunny here, weeds are growing like mad so I guess that's tomorrow's job. Tonight and tomorrow I will be trying to avoid the Eurovision result until DD gets home.

Good lord but it’s rather hot! I took my jigsaw outside but could feel myself drifting off a bit.

I won’t post anything about tonight’s results Fancy. I’m going to record it because I’ve stupidly booked cinema for DS1, his girlfriend, DS2 and me for 8pm.

I have gardened. I am pooped. It's ridiculously hot out there. It's May! Anyone would think it was July in this heat There's a rumour of potential rain overnight - we'll see.... Tomorrow plans to be a re-run of today, anyway.

Afternoon all. Beautiful day here, very hot. I hacked trimmed back a conifer this morning which was casting a shadow over my sunbathing area and this afternoon sat outside with sudokus and Magnum <nto> They've cut the size of Magnums from 110ml to 100ml, but they're still the same price. Better for the waistline though I suppose.

DH has been at DS's and has come home with dried blood all over his face. A spirit level fell on his head apparently. I don't know how he does it.

We're watching Eurovision Fancy - you must have converted DH, who is absolutely fully participating in the spirit of it, and not on his tablet making the occasional sarcastic comment There does seem to have been some material shortages in Spain.

I have been gardening all day. I apologise for the incoming cold snaps and sharp frosts that I have caused by planting out beans. Though it may hold off, since the courgettes etc aren't out yet - just in bigger pots.

The manshapes are back from their RegionalSportingActivity, so everyone's a bit pooped.

Morning all. DS was last to bed last night

Sunny with cloud this morning and no noticeable rain overnight. The veg patch was a bit of a concrete dustbowl last night while I was planting we had spits and spots of rain yesterday, but nothing more than that. <le sigh>

Today is more work, as per... hope that everyone had a good day and that Fancy enjoyed Eurovision with DD. <waves banana in solidarity with Norway>

DS2 has got his very first proper GCSE exam today (they do one a year early). Can’t even say if he’s being ratty because nerves or if he’s just his usual weekday morning self. Le sign.

Evening. Strange weather today, we had a cloudburst this afternoon, but sunny since. I meant to go to town this morning to do some jobs but never got there. Oh well.

Hope LetUsDS's exam went well.

DS2 says the exam was okay. Answered everything and knew the answers.

Evening, I can finally get back on social media now I've watched Eurovision 😁, DD was rather tired after a weekend away so it was a bit more subdued and rushed than usual. Still, a good result, so I'm happy. Even happier that MrHelen has been converted - next step is to get him to a full-on Euro night with scoring and themed snacks and alcohol.....

Evening all. We have been watching a film. I've just picked up a work email and dealt with that, and now I'm pooped. Again.
We had all over .5mm rail today though more might be coming our way on Wednesday. <does rain dance, just in case>

Yay for exam confidence, and (fancy) MrH says that he's already doing the alcohol part of Eurovision, so he's ahead of the game.
